Alan Wake 2 Update Fixes Duplicate Charms in New Game Plus

Remedy Entertainment has released a new update for Alan Wake 2, which is live on all platforms. It fixes an issue where players couldn’t pick up Saga’s inventory capacity upgrades in two locations. More importantly, it corrects some issues with New Game Plus (introduced in The Final Manuscript update).
New Game Plus will now track unlocks from all your previous games instead of just the first playthrough. First, you need a checkpoint from a regular playthrough and then start a fresh New Game Plus run, which means it’s not retroactive for ongoing NG+ playthroughs.
The patch also removes duplicate Charms from one’s inventory and prevents the acquisition of duplicates. The manuscript page in Bright Falls’ forest shack is also fixed and can be acquired by players.

Spider-Man 2's big post-launch update has been delayed to early 2024. In a tweet, developer Insomniac Games confirmed that the team needed more time to ensure a high-quality product, but will include a range of additional features.
