Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes have released the final mid-season update before Season 2 of Wayfinder, titled The Reaver King. The update for the Action RPG MMO brings a trove of new content ahead of Season 2 which is expected to release later this year. Players with any Wayfinder founder’s pack can jump into The Reaver King starting today.

Embark Studios’ upcoming team-based first-person shooter, The Finals, is getting a crossplay open beta on PC and consoles tomorrow (October 26), which will add an entirely new mode to the game, as well as a new map.

As per Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson, just like the 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man, those looking to replay the title and mop up all the side quests might have to wait a bit, though for now, simply beating it once grants access to an ‘Ultimate' difficulty setting for a fresh playthrough. For the uninitiated, a New Game + mode generally allows players to plunge back into a game's campaign in an overpowered state, as the in-game character carries over all unlocked abilities, tools and weapons, and gear upgrades.

poncle’s Vampire Survivors has received a new update, which makes light of preparing for Christmas while it’s still October. The Chilling Update adds Whiteout, a 20-minute bonus stage where enemies take more damage from fire weapons and move slower. Check out the launch trailer below.

Fanatec has announced a new Direct Drive Wheel Base that will add even more immersion for simulation racing drivers. The company has announced the expansion of its famous ClubSport Wheel Base line with a new 12 Nm Direct Drive Wheel Base. These look just like the CSL DD in shape, and will be compatible with the entire Fanatec ecosystem and all major racing games. Fanatec also announced that a ClubSport DD+ with 15 Nm torque and PlayStation compatibility will launch soon, and it will work on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Direct Drive is now the industry standard, however they do differ in results.

Insomniac Games has said Spider-Man 2 will get a New Game Plus mode after its release.

Today, the Star Wars: The Old Republic team unveiled the next chapter in the story told a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Update 7.4, called Chains in the Dark, will take players back to some familiar stomping grounds.
