The 'Killmonger Cut' Is Everywhere In Games, Here's Why the Industry Needs to Fix This

The return of Eddy Gordo, the capoeira specialist who’s been a fan-favorite in the long-running Tekken series since his franchise debut 25 years ago, should have been a slam dunk for Bandai Namco. His absence from the critically-acclaimed Tekken 8 was a serious point of contention between series director Katsuhiro Harada and overzealous fans as early as last summer, and his inclusion via DLC was a step towards correcting the unpopular omission.

‘Pathetic and unattractive Oscar Isaac’: Hideo Kojima offers up his ‘Moon Knight’ hot take

When gaming icon Hideo Kojima talks, people listen. The Metal Gear and Death Stranding creator is currently riding high after a stupendously great Death Stranding 2: On the Beach reveal and the Disney Plus premiere of the documentary Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds. There's a new Paranormal Activity horror game in the works from the creator of The Mortuary Assistant

DarkStone Digital, solo developer of The Mortary Assistant, is making a new horror game based on Paramount's Paranormal Activity films. Titled Paranormal Activity: Found Footage, it's being published by DreadXP and features some kind of reactive haunt system, with scares dialling up and down based on your actions. DreadXP have shared a teaser consisting of some crackly logos against a backdrop of radio chatter. Given that this is a Paranormal Activity adaptation, it's possible the trailer harbours spooky secrets. You may wish to experiment with turning the brightness up and down, playing the video backwards, or watching it again at the next full moon, perhaps while standing in a cemetery loudly declaring that ghosts aren't real.

17 years and 7 movies later, Paranormal Activity is finally getting a game, and it's from the creators of 2022's scariest horror game - gamesradar.com

17 years and 7 movies later, Paranormal Activity is finally getting a game, and it's from the creators of 2022's scariest horror game

Ho boy, I'm not sure I'm prepared for this. The prolific horror movie series Paranormal Activity is finally getting its own video game, and it's in development by Brian Clarke, the creator of The Mortuary Assistant, itself one of the most frightening games I've played in my long career of playing scary games.

Sony May Have Made the Right Call Not Copying Xbox Game Pass with PS Plus | Push Square

For the best part of this generation, Sony’s been pressured by a vocal part of the gaming community to borrow Xbox Game Pass’ unproven business model with PS Plus. The platform holder eventually decided to take a half-step, merging PS Now with its existing subscription but resisting the urge to add day one first-party software to the service. It’s described this strategy as unsustainable.
