Final Fantasy VII Rebirth received an in-depth look at PlayStation's latest State of Play showcase, where publisher Square Enix announced that a demo for the game will be made available Wednesday on the PS5. The playable demo, currently available to download on the PlayStation Store, will allow players to take control of both the protagonist Cloud Strife and the antagonist Sephiroth in an early section of the game. Along with the announcement, Square Enix also debuted an 11-minute-long gameplay footage from the upcoming action RPG, showcasing the world map, modes of traversal, minigames and more.
A new Princess Peach Showtime trailer shows more transformations

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Princess Peach Showtime, which shows off new transformations.
It was already known that Peach can transform into a kung fu fighter, a detective, a pastry chef and a swordfighter.
However, the new trailer – which can be seen embedded at the top of this article or on Nintendo’s YouTube page – reveals that she can also transform into Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach.
Ninja Peach can hide in grass, attack enemies with her daggers, and quickly perform wall jumps.
Cowgirl Peach, meanwhile, can lasso enemies and ride a horse.
Princess Peach Showtime is set for release in March 2024 and sees Peach transforming into various outfits, each with their own abilities (similar to a Kirby game).
“For example,” Nintendo says in the game’s description, “Peach can become a Swordfighter to fend off foes with sensational swordplay, mix it up with martial arts moves as Kung Fu Peach or show off her sweet skills as a pastry chef”.
The game marks the second time Peach has starred in her own game, the first being Super Princess Peach on the Nintendo DS.
The 2005 title was a 2D platformer in which Peach could use her emotions as powers – for example, by crying, she could water beanstalks to make them grow.
