Players can build virtually anything in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and one such inventor recently pieced together an incredibly fast mini-train with powerful mounted laser cannons to zap away enemies. One of the defining features of Tears of the Kingdom is its surprisingly in-depth weapon and vehicle crafting mechanics, which allow Link to fuse raw materials and ancient Zonai technology using his new Ultrahand abilities.
Unsurprisingly, Tears of the Kingdom players have used this creation suite to flex their creative muscles, forging all manner of helpful vehicles and sharing them on social media for fellow fans to admire. From simple hover-propulsion fishing boats to more complex two-in-one land rovers modeled after Batman’s Tumbler vehicle from The Dark Knight, there has been no shortage of creative inventions to help Link either complete his latest quest to defend the land of Hyrule from Ganondorf or simply roam Tears of the Kingdom’s vast open world in search of the next sidequest or hidden item.
Reddit user Scared_Cry_4931 has shared plenty of fun custom-made vehicles on r/HyruleEngineering, a subreddit devoted to showing off the many different things players can build inTears of the Kingdom. A video clip of their latest invention was posted recently, showing a train-like motorcycle vehicle that they are tentatively calling the “spirit bike.” It features a pair of mounted laser beams that automatically fire on any enemy or destructible object in their path.
Throughout the comment section of Scared_Cry_4931’s recent Reddit post, other users have complimented their creative train vehicle, suggested new names for it, and even compared it to Link’s Spirit Train from the 2009 Nintendo DS spin-off The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Some of the recommended names for the mini-train as of this writing are “The Choo Choo Pew Pew,” “Gloomtrain,” and “The Pain Train” — which Scared_Cry_4931 seems to like well enough to consider using as the locomotive’s official moniker.

A Pokemon player has successfully managed to transfer the rare Mew from Space World 1997 into the modern-day Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. The Pokemonuniverse contains many rare and legendary creatures, and the powerful Psychic feline Mew may very well be one of the most elusive of all. Despite playing a major role in the lore of the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, Mew could not be encountered or captured in the base game without glitches or datamining. This would be the case for every mainline Pokemon game until Generation 4’s Diamond and Pearl, which allowed players to import it from the Wii My Pokemon Ranch spin-off.
An incredibly rare Nintendo DS is being auctioned off, and it could sell for over £15,000. The Nintendo DS was first released in 2004 as the successor to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and evolved the Big N's classic handheld formula by including a second touchscreen that players could use for hit titles like The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Pokemon Black and White. While it was eventually phased out in favor of the upgraded Nintendo 3DS in 2011, the original Nintendo DS remains one of gaming’s most well-remembered portable systems, with several of its past exclusives being released on current hardware to this day.
