Nintendo is teaming up with Japan-based clothing brand Uniqlo to release a new apparel lineup based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Like previous apparel released by Uniqlo, the new t-shirts featuring designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomwill likely be released first in Japan.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is approaching its one-year anniversary in May, and many Nintendo fans are still exploring the vast Kingdom of Hyrule and the Depths. The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom community continues to share their creations online with other fans, and some are also sharing new tricks and workarounds they've discovered to help other players and newcomers. These new creations and tips are made possible through Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai abilities, which let Link interact with objects in ways that weren't possible in previous Zelda entries. Although updates for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have ceased, Nintendo began to partner with designers and manufacturers in recent months to unveil new merchandise and apparel.
Uniqlo's Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom apparel line will launch on April 26 in Japan with six new short-sleeved t-shirts to choose from, as reported by VGC. Each new t-shirt costs 1,500 yen (roughly $10) and features unique designs based on creatures and characters from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, including Ganondorf and Link. These designs may be seen on the front and back of the shirts, and the new line comes in sizes ranging from XXS to 4XL. In addition, two of the six new t-shirts feature clever designs with Addison and Koroks lurking within or near the breast pocket.
Uniqlo has not confirmed a worldwide release for the new t-shirts. Fortunately, Uniqlo typically releases its collaborative apparel in its online store, so Zelda fans should expect the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom lineup to be available in the US and other regions on April 26 or sometime afterward. For example, the Street Fighter and Tekken Uniqlo t-shirts were made available in the company's online store.
Fans can expect more Zelda merchandise to be released in the future, including a new Figma of Link from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Pre-orders opened this past March for $115.99 on Good Smile Company's online store. However, the figure's estimated shipping window is Q3 2025, so fans will have to wait at least a year after the newZelda: Tears of the Kingdom Uniqlo line is made available.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the beloved open-world adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This installment once again sees Link and Zelda battling to protect Hyrule from falling to Ganondorf. This new adventure takes place in the same land of Hyrule as Breath of the Wild
