XDefiant launches May 21

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising downloadable content character Beatrix will launch on May 23 for $7.99, publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works announced.

DAVE THE DIVER downloadable content “Godzilla” will launch for free on May 23, developer MINTROCKET announced. It is a time-limited release that will only be available until November 23.

Epic Games Publishing and developer AQUIRIS will release Horizon Chase 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 30, the companies announced.

Jyamma Games has delayed Italian Soulslike action RPG Enotria: The Last Song from its previously planned August 21 release date to September 19, as well as announced that the previously canceled Xbox Series version is now planned once again. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store when it launches. An eight-hour demo will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC on May 22.

Quirky adventure game Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip will launch for PC via Steam on May 30 for $17.99 / £14.99 / €17.49, publisher Super Rare Originals and developer snekflat announced.

After a delay from its originally planned release alongside the PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) version, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of third-person story-driven game INDIKA will launch on May 17, publisher 11 bit studios and developer Odd Meter announced.

Publisher KOMODO and developer Kogado Studio will release turn-based strategy game One-inch Tactics for PC via Steam on May 20 for $19.99 / 2,500 yen, the companies announced.

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Galvanic Games will release the “Better Together” update for cooperative sandbox survival game Wizard with a Gun on May 13, the companies announced. It will add four-player cooperative play to the game, which currently only supports two players.

Wabisabi Games’ RKGK / Rakugaki will launch on May 22nd for PC courtesy of Gearbox Publishing. Retailing for $19.99, it’s a stylish 3D platformer where players control Vallah, who ventures through Cap City to bring back its color. Check out the first gameplay below.

XDefiant, Ubisoft's free-to-play first-person shooter, finally has a release date. After hitting delays, the game's preseason will launch on May 21 across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X via Ubisoft Connect. According to the studio, XDefiant will feature five different game modes across 14 maps at launch. Players will start out with 24 weapons and 44 attachments and can try out five playable factions inspired by Ubisoft franchises.

Good news, people whose day-to-day lives are woefully short on blingy Clancified squad-murdering. Ubisoft's elusive free-to-play shooter XDefiant finally has a release date, 21st May 2024. Or at least, that's when the preseason launches, providing six weeks of access to the modes, maps and factions from last month's server test.
