Xbox Game Pass Adds MLB The Show 24, Control Ultimate Edition, and More in Early March

Xbox Game Pass members can play Evil West with their subscriptions starting today. Developed by Polish studio Flying Wild Hog, the action-packed third-person shooter is the tenth title to reach Xbox Game Pass in March 2024.

The Quarry is now available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The renowned survival horror experience is the ninth title to reach Microsoft's subscription service in March 2024, as well as the 36th Xbox Game Pass addition since the turn of the year.

Microsoft has revealed the titles they’ll be adding to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles in late March and very-early April, and it’s a pretty packed lineup. The headliner is Diablo IV, one of the first major Acti-Blizz games to jump to Game Pass following Microsoft’s acquisition of the publisher. Other notable additions include The Quarry, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, and the new-release indie game Open Roads.

Microsoft has announced new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in late March to early April, which includes Diablo IV, The Quarry, ARK: Survival Ascended, and more.

Xbox Game Pass has added another day one game, Lightyear Frontier,which is launching in early access on March 19. Developed by Frame Break, the indie game combines farming sim with mech gameplay, and adventurers can explore the colorful open world of Lightyear Frontier solo or co-op with up to three friends. Players will use their mech’s machine gun to plant seeds or equip it with a chainsaw to gather resources while establishing a homestead on a distant planet.

SNK’s library of fighting franchises tend bleed into each other a bit, but back in the day, the company was best-known for the Fatal Fury series. Eventually, the King of Fighters series, which included characters from multiple SNK games, largely supplanted Fatal Fury, but now we’re getting a Furious return. While they teased it previously, today SNK officially announced Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will combine classic gameplay with the new “REV” system. Much like Street Fighter 6, the new Fatal Fury will also introduce a more casual “Smart Style” mode that will allow you to easily pull off special moves. Xbox Game Pass has added No More Heroes 3 to its ever-expanding content library. This is the sixth title to reach Microsoft's subscription service in March 2024 and the 33rd overall addition to Xbox Game Pass since the turn of the year.

After being removed from Xbox Game Pass in February 2022, Remedy Entertainment‘s action-adventure game Control has returned to the service. To make things even better, subscribers will now get to experience the Ultimate Edition of the award-winning title.

Xbox Game Pass has added SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom — Rehydrated to its vast content library. The remake of Heavy Iron Studios' 2003 cult classic is the fourth title to reach Xbox Game Pass in March 2024, as well as the 31st overall addition to the service since the turn of the year.

Xbox Game Pass is adding NBA 2K24 to its content library later today, March 11. Unlike the vast majority of titles that make their way to the service, the latest entry in the NBA 2K franchise won't be available to Xbox Game Pass users on PC.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will soon have two additional perks to claim, with one for Persona 3 Reload and another for Final Fantasy 14. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the priciest tier of Xbox Game Pass, but it comes with some major benefits that make it worthwhile for many subscribers.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2024, Capcom has confirmed. The «action strategy» game inspired by Japanese mythology is yet another addition to the long list of titles that will have day-one Xbox Game Pass debuts this year.
