Upcoming Xbox console exclusive game State of Decay 3 could be getting its first major update in four years. State of Decay 3 was first announced in 2020, and was in fact one of the first-ever games revealed for the Xbox Series X/S family of consoles. The CG trailer helped set the tone for what State of Decay 3 may be aiming for thematically, but otherwise didn't reveal anything all that substantial about the game.
The first two State of Decay games are all about managing a community of survivors during the zombie apocalypse. The games earned mixed reviews, but still have a dedicated fanbase. The State of Decay 3 reveal trailer suggests that the series is going in a much more serious direction, but actual details about the game have been virtually nonexistent since it was first announced. The game has basically gone radio silent, but that may change in the near future.
Microsoft insider Jez Corden has teased that a State of Decay 3 update could be coming at the big Xbox showcase in June. While it's entirely possible that their words are being misinterpreted, Corden took to Twitter to comment on the leaked Gears 6 reveal that's apparently in the works for the June showcase. «I'm excited about Gears 6 for the June Xbox Showcase, but there's another game whose state I'm incredibly excited to learn more about.» Fans have been latching on to the use of the word «state» to indicate that a State of Decay 3 update is potentially coming as part of the June Showcase as well.
Considering how long it's been since fans have gotten a proper update on State of Decay 3, the game is due for an update. There are a ton of unanswered questions about State of Decay 3 since all fans have seen of it so far is a CG trailer, so it will be great to get a proper update on the game. Whether that update comes at the Xbox June showcase remains to be seen, but fans will find out one way or another within the next couple of months.
If the rumors and leaks are true, the Xbox June showcase will be huge. Besides the potential for a State of Decay 3 update, the leaks have pointed to a big reveal for Gears of War 6, which is being hyped up as «the moment» for Xbox Series X in the same way that the original Gears was for the Xbox 360. It's also been whispered that Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War could have a big showing at the event, along with the announcement of old-school Call of Duty games joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup.

Hollow Knight: Silksong was first announced in 2019, and fans have been anxious to play the game ever since. Unfortunately, the wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong has been an incredibly long one, with little in the way of any substantial updates on the game or its progress since its initial announcement.
Publisher Bohemia Interactive has had a large impact on PC gaming over the past decade or so, with major genre-defining titles like Arma and DayZ to their name. But did you know Bohemia also has another major game it’s currently supporting that’s never been on PC? Initially released back in 2019, the free-to-play Vigor has attracted over 20 million players on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, but it's never been released on PC. Why? Honestly, I don’t know! Obviously, not every game has to come to PC, but Vigor is the type of experience that specifically does well on the platform, so it doesn’t make much sense.
