After announcing it in August 2022, Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on February 29th. Both versions will be available at midnight local time (depending on your region) and include rollback netcode.

Age of Mythology: Retold has been confirmed for a day-one release on Microsoft's consoles, whose owners will be able to play it via Xbox Game Pass or purchase it digitally. This development marks a notable improvement in how Microsoft's first-party RTS games approach consoles, which have previously been more of an afterthought for them, with that strategy standing in stark contrast to most other types of Xbox Game Pass releases.

Day one Xbox Game Pass games are typically announced well in advance, giving subscribers plenty of time to prepare for the new releases.

MLB The Show 24 has revealed that a Storylines mode will follow the career of Derek Jeter, in which players can replay some of the ballplayer's most iconic moments. The new reveal comes after a recent announcement that also drummed up some excitement for this year's MLB The Show.

Microsoft has confirmed the second wave of February games for Xbox Game Pass, which also stretches a little further into March. Between February 22 and March 5, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to claim 6 new games, although one of them is an addition to the Cloud Gaming platform.

The June games showcase is Xbox's biggest event each year, giving fans a glimpse at what they can expect from its first-party studios and the games they're building. The showcase is also usually filled with a smattering of third-party Game Pass partnerships, revealing new games coming to the service throughout the second half of the year and beyond.
