Xbox Becomes “Number One Platform” for Diablo 4 Following Game Pass Release

Xbox Game Pass members can play Another Crab's Treasure as part of their subscription starting today, April 25. This day-one addition to the Xbox Game Pass library arrives in the form of a colorful action RPG with an important message about environmental preservation.

As was previously leaked, the critically-acclaimed 2023 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Thursday, April 25. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate features a number of exclusive perks to help justify its higher cost compared to the other Game Pass tiers, with one of the big selling points being its access to the EA Play library of games.

Xbox Game Pass is making four more games available to subscribers, including a day-one launch title and three additions for Core members. Xbox Game Pass Core, which launched in September 2023, replaced Xbox Live Gold and did away with the two free games subscribers received each month. Instead, for the same price, Core offers a catalog of more than 25 games for members to enjoy at their leisure, and the selection of titles changes about two to three times per year.

Xbox Game Pass is getting yet another exciting day-one addition on April 26, but despite how incredible this game looks like it could be, there's also some cause for caution. Getting to play new games as soon as they release without a purchase is one of the biggest draws of Xbox Game Pass, which opens up a large library of games for a subscription fee. The service is available on both Xbox systems and PC, and it often makes it possible to play games on either platform.

It's been confirmed that SteamWorld Heist 2 will be a day one Xbox Game Pass game when it releases on August 8. Five of the top 10 most wishlisted games on Steam are coming to Xbox Game Pass as day one releases, including eagerly awaited titles such as Manor Lords and Hollow Knight: Silksong. This marks an excellent time to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, as Microsoft keeps adding several amazing games to its subscription service.

The Nintendo Indie World showcase confirmed the release date for Little Kitty, Big City, a game that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one of its release. Xbox Game Pass announcements typically come directly from Microsoft itself, but there are times when reveals happen elsewhere. For example, sometimes companies drop release date trailers for games that have already been confirmed for Game Pass.

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games that will be added to the Game Pass catalog over the next couple of weeks, and subscribers have some notable titles to look forward to. Most prominent among them is probably Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Rabbit and Bear Studios’ long-awaited Suikoden spiritual successor, which launches April 23 and will also be available with Game Pass on PC, console, and cloud at launch.

Some of these are, obviously, better than others but most of the time, they serve as a reminder of why AAA games can become tired.

Harold Halibut, a unique narrative game developed by Slow Bros. is releasing day one on Xbox Game Pass, and subscribers will also be able to upgrade for free to Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition. Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass continues to offer an appealing library of games for members to enjoy, and the selection changes every month as new titles are added and others are removed.
