Microsoft has revealed the next batch of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

A new batch of games have been announced for Game Pass in May, including five that are playable on PC. There are siblings, felines, reapers, and a Croft. I'm struggling to identify a theme.

Microsoft has officially announced the four games that are coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in the first half of May 2024. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass in two waves every month. The first wave typically takes up the first 15 days of the month, while the second wave comes in the back-half of any given month. As expected, Microsoft has now revealed all the games coming in the first wave of new Xbox Game Pass additions for May 2024.

Xbox Game Pass offers access to hundreds of games, from new releases like Starfield to classics, playable on Xbox consoles and PCs. While the service typically starts at $10 a month, savvy users can enjoy it for free through Microsoft Rewards. Microsoft Rewards is a loyalty programme for those who use Microsoft products like Bing and Xbox. By spending about 10 minutes daily, you can accumulate enough points for a complimentary month of Xbox Game Pass, along with other rewards.

While Xbox Game Pass subscribers are no doubt trying to play some of the bigger releases of April, those wanting to experience an exceptional roguelike that didn't receive the hype that he deserved should keep their eyes peeled for the end of the month. With major Day-One launches like the JRPG and the sleeper early-access hit , April has proven to be an especially successful month for Microsoft as its catalog of offered games grew with some excellent titles. To cap off such a big month, an excellent indie gem is exactly what users need.

As was previously leaked, the critically-acclaimed 2023 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Thursday, April 25. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate features a number of exclusive perks to help justify its higher cost compared to the other Game Pass tiers, with one of the big selling points being its access to the EA Play library of games.

Xbox Game Pass is making four more games available to subscribers, including a day-one launch title and three additions for Core members. Xbox Game Pass Core, which launched in September 2023, replaced Xbox Live Gold and did away with the two free games subscribers received each month. Instead, for the same price, Core offers a catalog of more than 25 games for members to enjoy at their leisure, and the selection of titles changes about two to three times per year.

The acclaimed Star Wars title is joining EA's subscription service almost exactly a year after its release across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.

Xbox Game Pass is getting yet another exciting day-one addition on April 26, but despite how incredible this game looks like it could be, there's also some cause for caution. Getting to play new games as soon as they release without a purchase is one of the biggest draws of Xbox Game Pass, which opens up a large library of games for a subscription fee.
