WWE 2K24 has just released a new update, making several quality-of-life improvements. Visual Concepts’ last couple of WWE video games have been constantly praised for their refined in-ring action, and WWE 2K24 is continuing this with good reviews so far. Fans who pre-ordered one of the game’s digital deluxe editions could jump into WWE 2K24 a few days ahead of its March 8 release, and now everyone can tag in and see for themselves how this year’s iteration builds on what worked in the past few entries.
With WWE celebrating the 40th year of its annual WrestleMania event, WWE 2K24’s Showcase Mode highlights some of the greatest and most memorable matches to take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All, allowing players to take control of popular Superstars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns during some of the biggest wins of their careers. The in-ring action of WWE 2K24 will now go a bit smoother thanks to Patch 1.03, which went live alongside the game itself. Tweaks were also made to WWE 2K24’s online gameplay, namely in regards to the 8-person War Games match that was introduced in last year’s WWE 2K23. There were also adjustments made to the Create-a-Superstar and Create-an-Arena modes, allowing fans to build their own wrestlers and rings without worrying about technical issues. Universe Mode sees improved stability and a fix related to Backstage Brawls, while MyFaction has several different issues with match objective descriptions, boss supercards, and overall stability corrected.

It seems as though WWE 2K24 potentially cut 14 wrestlers from the roster, as evidence of their existence in the game's files has been discovered. The recently-released WWE 2K24 has a massive roster of wrestlers for fans to choose from, from old-school grapplers to modern-day stars. But even though the WWE 2K24 roster is admittedly rather massive and comprehensive, there are still some wrestlers that didn't make the cut for one reason or another.

A WWE 2K24 player recently recreated the legendary Sabu using the game’s character creation suite, but the superstar himself seems less than thrilled at the result. He has appeared in numerous wrestling video games over the years, such as ECW Hardcore Revolution, the Legends of Wrestling series, and Backyard Wrestling: Don’t Try This At Home.

While Spider-Man 2 earned much critical acclaim and quickly became one of Insomniac’s highest-selling titles, players decried not being able to replay story missions without creating a whole new save file, which in turn left them without much to do after clearing Spider-Man 2’s various side-activities the first time.
