World of Warcraft began its celebration of Hearthstone’s 10-year anniversary, but the crossover event is so crowded that players are having trouble participating in it. With many of its features reminiscent of the Greedy Emissary collaboration for Diablo 4’s launch, this new World of Warcraft event is off to a rocky start.
Hearthstone is officially 10 years old, and World of Warcraft is here to celebrate alongside its digital card game counterpart. From now through March 18, players can defeat bosses based on iconic cards in Valdrakken or each faction’s capital city to earn achievements and several Hearthstone collectibles and cosmetics.
However, players have encountered some issues while trying to participate in the Hearthstone event in World of Warcraft. Each of the boss spawns has been absolute chaos as fans frantically try to tag the mobs to get credit for the kill, causing Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Valdrakken to be even more laggy than normal. What’s more, there is only one interactable Hearthstone table at each location. Though players can buy Wild Cards from a nearby vendor to progress the event quest, fans were baffled as to why there was only one such table to begin with.
In a lot of ways, the Hearthstone anniversary collaboration in World of Warcraft is similar to the Diablo 4 Greedy Emissary event. Like the Treasure Goblins, WoW players are descending upon Whizbang and his Hearthstone card bosses in a wild frenzy, making it hard to truly enjoy the event. That said, the Diablo 4 event lasted several weeks, while fans only have seven days to earn all the rewards from the Hearthstone event. Hopefully, the event will become more stable as the week progresses.
Hectic though it might be, the rewards from the Hearthstone crossover event in WoW are legendary. Lucky players can obtain a Hearthstone disc mount, Sarge the mouse as a pet, and some fantastic toys and cosmetics as rare drops during the event.

There are more free rewards players can acquire during Hearthstone’s 10th anniversary celebration as well. World of Warcraft fans can obtain the Fiery Hearthsteed mount simply by logging into Hearthstone anytime before May 14. In Hearthstone itself, players can earn gold versions of their 12 free gift cards and a special Coin as a part of the ongoing anniversary quest, and a card back via a Legendary quest. Fans also have the chance to earn tons of free packs and other goodies on Monday for the anniversary and Wednesday ahead of Hearthstone's new Whizbang's Workshop expansion via Twitch drops,

Some World of Warcraft fans have discovered an exploit in Plunderstorm that makes it so a Duo team can keep resurrecting each other while in the Storm. Though many World of Warcraft players have enjoyed their time in Plunderstorm so far, this strange detail has left many scratching their heads.
