The Skyrest Bridge Key is an important, hidden item in that can unlock new gear and open shortcut paths through one of the game's larger zones. Traveling around Skyrest Bridge may initially seem limited until you acquire this key. You will have to journey between the Axiom and Umbral realms to obtain this Key Item from a structure deep within the shadows of this location.
Your character reaches Skyrest Bridge initially right after beating Pieta in . This boss blocks the main hub area of the game, which opens up a linear path forward into the location for which the key is named after. Explorethis area, defeating basic enemies until you find the Vestige of Chabui, a resting point you could use for level upgrades with your collected Vigor.

Go past the floating platforms to the right of the Vestige, using careful jumps and dodges to traverse this dangerous portion of the Skyrest Bridge. Enemies in this spot are designed to knock you into the abyss below, making certain shields great for defense against these tactics. Keep moving until you find an elevator above the platforms into a series of narrow passages under the Bridge in .
Travel across the space at the top of the elevator before turning left, then right, until you find what looks to be a dead end. Without entering the Umbral Realm, activate your Lantern to reveal a hidden path in the Axiom world in. Travel along this walkway before dropping onto a ledge with another bridge that appears when you use your Lantern again.

After crossing the hidden bridge, travel to the Umbral Realm and quickly defeat the few enemies that spawn once you arrive in the shadow world. An Umbral Belly should be right in front of you in this area; make sure to activate Soul Flay on this spot in. A brand-new bridge will spawn into the Umbral at this point, leading you further across the abyss close to the Skyrest Bridge platforms from earlier.
Another Umbral Belly can also be Soul Flayed to grant you the Key without any other action. Although two powerful enemies will attack the moment you grab the item, you can evade these foes by traveling back to the Axiom in the space near the first hidden path. Once you get the Skyrest Bridge Key in , you can use a shortcut to travel back to the Vestige and heal before exploring new sections of the area.
