More and more PlayStation games are making their way to PC, with Horizon Forbidden West now scheduled to be the next big blockbuster from the Sony studio to arrive on the platform.
Picking up six months after the events of Horizon Zero Dawn, huntress Aloy journeys to Forbidden West to find the source of a mysterious plague that is killing everything it touches.
Taking inspiration from Califonia, Nevada and Utah, players have the chance to explore a huge post-apocalyptic open world filled with giant mechanical monsters that roam the lands.

Having first launched on PS5 in February 2022, those on PC have patiently awaited its debut – and now, at long last, developer Guerrilla Games has confirmed a release window.
We even have a trailer showing off all the tech that will enhance the experience, such as DLSS support. The port will be handled by Nixxes, which previously handled the likes of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Marvel's Spider-Man on PC.
With hopefully not too long to go until launch, here's everything we know so far about Horizon Forbidden West on PC.
Guerilla Games has confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West will be released on PC sometime in early 2024.
This means the action RPG could arrive in Q1 or Q2, potentially up until May unless a delay is announced. It will be launched on both Steam and the Epic Games Store simultaneously.
Horizon Forbidden West – Complete Edition bundles together the 2022 game along with the Burning Shores expansion that was subsequently released in 2023.

Pre-orders for Horizon Forbidden West on PC are not yet live. You can add the game to your wishlist on Steam for the time being until further details are announced.
Pricing has yet to be confirmed, either. We're expecting it to launch at a similar cost to that of Marvel's Spider-Man, which arrived at an RRP of £49.99 / $59.99 in the UK and the US. Once official pricing has been announced, we'll update this piece.
Nvidia uploaded a Horizon Forbidden West – Complete Edition trailer in January 2024, showcasing elements of the technology that is going into the PC port.
This includes AI performance boost, enhanced image quality and low latency technology all coming from Nvidia DLSS 3, Nvidia DLAA and Nvidia Reflex. Check it out below:
