When Does Hardcore WoW Classic Launch

OTK is hosting a World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore Race Tournament, where 12 players are all competing in a leveling race for 3 hours on Hardcore realms.

The highly-anticipated Google Pixel 8 is on the horizon. Google Pixel 8 launch date is slated for October 4th. It will be exciting to witness what Google has for us this time. Rumors have been swirling about some intriguing features, including Google's signature machine-learning advancements and hardware upgrades. WoW Classic recently got its own hardcore mode, which for most of us means one thing: people dying and losing enormous amounts of progress in amusing ways (and maniacs hitting max level in a few days). Hardcore modes are increasingly popular across all games, and take various forms, but the common element is permadeath and, in MMOs especially, that can mean hundreds of hours of playtime disappearing in the blink of an eye. Or in this case, when one unfortunate soul shut their eyes for too long.

World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore has been live for one week, and Blizzard has shared a number of key stats from the first punishing days.

Just a couple of days ago, Apple confirmed its September event, which has been ‘Wonderlust' this time, for September 12, where the iPhone 15 series is likely to be unveiled. Now, Google has also confirmed its Made By Google event for October 4 where the Pixel 8 series and the Pixel Watch 2 are expected to be launched. Made by Google is an annual event by the company where it introduces new products from its Pixel lineup, in particular the flagship Pixel smartphones. This year, the company has already launched the Pixel Fold, Pixel 7a, and the Pixel Tablet at its Google I/O event in May.

Blizzard has released data about the first hours of Classic Hardcore. In a little over 24 hours since launch, 90,000 characters have perished. The highest-level player after one day reached level 33!

World of Warcraft Classic's hardcore servers—which have been available on its PTR for some time—have officially launched on its live realms, alongside an official trailer which you can watch below.
