Unlocking jobs in is a vital part of the gameplay experience, as it allows players to focus their abilities and specialize in how they engage with the various situations presented in the title – be they humorous or simply tragic. is another installment in the series formerly known as, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The game is a direct sequel to the events of and follows both Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu in a joint adventure.
Following the success and style of its predecessor, the title once again uses the turn-based approach for its combat system. Like most RPGs with turn-based combat, playable characters can take on classes, which come in the form of jobs. These jobs allow the heroes to specialize in certain playstyles and, ultimately, form a team comp that boosts itself and keeps itself alive. There are plenty of jobs in to choose from, but first, players have to unlock them.
Players can unlock the jobs system in Chapter 5, Substory 31, called “Let’s Get Alo-Happy”. Upon reaching this section of the game, they can start gathering classes to enhance their abilities and optimize their characters and their respective skills. In turn, they can round out how they play – thus, making the combat in a lot deeper and more fluid. Among the various jobs offered by the RPG, some are exclusive to certain characters (like Hero for Ichiban), while others are exclusive to the binary genders. This is made to encompass the variety of playable characters in the game.
In total, there are 25 different jobs in Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s RPG, but all of these won't be unlocked right away and some have prerequisites or are only available for certain characters. For example, the Dragon of Dojima job can only be used by Kiryu, as it reflects his gameplay style from the previous games and allows him to shift between fighting styles. Ichiban, on the other hand, has three jobs that are exclusive to him: Freelancer, Hero, and Sujimancer. To unlock certain jobs, players will have to partake in the activities offered by ’s Alo-Happy Tours.
Another way of getting new jobs in the game is by increasing the bond level with other characters. Players can change their characters’ jobs to create better synergy between the members of a party and how they perform during combat. Characters can even carry on certain aspects of jobs they level up, called Extreme Techniques, onto other jobs, allowing for a diverse mix of abilities and class combinations in .

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has been in the news virtually throughout the whole of the last year and 2024 has started with a bang too. This is courtesy of the major strides the company has taken in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) where its big bet on Sam Altman-led OpenAI has meant that Microsoft is virtually leading the race against rival tech titans with Google, Meta Platforms, and Amazon playing catch up. And the biggest rival of them all, Apple, is yet to start the race. With AI set to transform the world in every way imaginable and some ways that are still to be thought-up, the leadership in this space would itself have ensured Nadella's place at the top of the best tech CEOs ever list after Apple founder Steve Jobs.
Chasing collectables is a time honored, time consuming tradition in World of Warcraft, with each major patch introducing new rewards to chase and grinds to obtain them. Between new zones, holiday events, and special activities like Secrets of Azeroth, there's always something to chase… though some of these grinds have become painfully limited by extreme amounts of RNG or time limits. To their credit, Blizzard has acknowledged these issues with increased droprates and bad luck protection, but has that done enough to make Dragonflight one of the best expansions for collectors, or does Blizzard still have a long way to go?
