The 's upcoming release of its self-contained game,, includes three ready-to-play decks in addition to its unique carrying case playing field design that holds everything in one board game-style package. The fully evolved starter Pokémon of the Kanto region, Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard, each headline one of the three decks for the Each of these decks has been pre-designed and tested to be fair against each other to give everyone equal footing. The cards may just be a small part of the overall presentation of this product, yet they are the most important piece.
Full lists of what cards are included with each of the three complete decks in the were revealed at the Pokémon World Championships 2023. Due to the timeless functionality of the set, these decks are designed to be unchanging and static, rather than feature the characteristic fluidity of most decks in the world of s. Other than the basic Energy cards, none of the cards included are legal for tournament play.

Each of the decks in is made up of a mix of new and reprinted cards, and they feature a special holofoil pattern and new numbering unique to this box set. In addition to the three 60-card decks, the collection includes a foldable game board that transforms into a carrying case to hold everything inside of it for easy storage and portability. There are three deck boxes, each marked with an Energy symbol for either Grass, Fire, or Water, and special black and white card sleeves that also feature these Energy symbols. 3D damage counters, metal orbs to be used as coins, and more are all included to make this a completely self-contained package for playing .
The Venusaur deck is primarily made up of Grass- and Fighting-type cards with the biggest emphasis being on Venusaur and the newly-released Lugia ex card.
