The hotly anticipated GTA 6 trailer is out now, and you bet we’ve been watching it on 0.25 speed to try and pick up on any details you may have missed. As with any Rockstar release, while the clip itself is only 90 seconds long, each frame is densely detailed. And we can confirm the Scottish studio’s sense of humour is alive and well, as it lampoons modern American life in a number of different ways.

Below you’ll find at least eight Easter eggs we spotted in the trailer, but considering the game’s not due out on PS5 until 2025, we probably have months to discover more. Is there anything obvious we missed? Did any of these details or gags make you laugh out loud? As always, be sure to shout them out in the comments section below.
The plane banner flying over the city at the start of the trailer ponders: “Why sixty-nine when you can nine 1 nine?” Rockstar’s trademark sense of humour is in full effect, it seems.
Social media looks poised to feature heavily in GTA 6, as we see various clips taken from TikTok-esque apps. But nothing quite screams the influencer age like this sneak peek of a man rolling around in the sand, taking photos of his significant other’s posterior.
There are a lot of cars in the GTA 6 trailer, but the one that jumped out to us was the Cheetah, which has featured in virtually every entry since GTA 3. It’s based on the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, and here it even has CH33TAH as its license plate. Also, notice just to the right, there’s a man sitting on the ground with an iguana on his shoulder.
As we mentioned previously, social media appears to play a huge role in GTA 6. A large proportion of the trailer consists of footage captured from fake social media accounts, including this one posted by DadBodSquad. It’ll be interesting to see if this plays a role in the actual gameplay loop, and if you’ll be able to share your own TikTok-style posts – or at least “follow” the various characters you encounter.
Pharmaceutical companies aren’t going to get off lightly in GTA 6 either. One billboard for a product named Angstipan promises to “cure emotions”. The smallprint notes: “Patients 18-65 should use with extreme caution. Sudden urge to blink could be life threatening. Call your doctor if your erection lasts more than four hours. Results may vary.” The wonders of Western medicine, eh?
The criminal depicted here is likely a goof on the Florida Joker, a tattooed man who has an unhealthy obsession with Jared Leto’s version of the DC supervillain. Also, pay attention to the police badge in the background, which is almost identical to the emblem cops use in Florida.
