Legends of Azeroth do battle in an action strategy title as Blizzard finally brings the big guns to mobile with Warcraft Rumble. Blizzard Entertainment’s money-making behemoth will finally appear on mobile platforms at Blizzcon on November 3rd, 2023. The fast-paced action strategy promises players a chance to form armies to take on familiar bosses, dungeons and even other players from 5 different factions in the Warcraft universe. Built from the ground up for mobile platforms, players can collect “minis” of their favorite heroes from both the horde and the alliance to battle alongside their own personal death squads. Blizzard promises a deep solo campaign with strategic puzzles, a fully fleshed PvP system, and even dungeons with challenging boss fights for veterans and new players alike. The executive producer of Warcraft Rumble, Vik Saraf, said, “We’re confident that whether you’re new to the Warcraft universe or a long-time veteran, you’ll find the perfect army to unleash your brand of joyful chaos!”

Blizzard Entertainment has dated Warcraft Rumble.
Originally announced in May 2022 as Warcraft Arclight Rumble, the recently renamed title will hit iOS and Android devices on November 3, 2023.
Its launch will coincide with the opening of BlizzCon, which is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center in California from November 3-4, in what will be the convention’s first in-person event since 2019.
“The first Warcraft game built from the ground up for mobile allows you to build and command miniature armies made up of heroes, villains, and creatures from the Warcraft universe,” according to Blizzard.
“Deploy legendary characters from throughout Warcraft history—featuring the likes of Jaina Proudmoore, Grommash Hellscream, Hogger, and more—as you put your strategy skills to the test in a variety of gameplay modes, both solo and against other players.
“Each mission in the massive single-player campaign presents a distinct, bite-sized strategic puzzle to solve, while deep player-versus-player systems, deadly Dungeons, and many other gameplay modes hold plenty of challenges for players of all skill levels.”

Blizzard announced last week that it had appointed studio veteran Chris Metzen as Warcraft’s executive creative director. He was one of the original team members working on the Warcraft universe when it began in 1994.
Metzen had a 23-year spell at the company before retiring in 2016, but he rejoined the studio last year as a creative advisor for Warcraft’s leadership.
Blizzard said his primary focus is supporting World of Warcraft’s leadership in “crafting the next generation of adventures” and that the team will provide an update on what it’s been working on at BlizzCon.
The studio also laid off a number of employees from its Hearthstone team last week, with 10 members of staff reportedly made redundant.
Exploring Warcraft Rumble’s road to release
Blizzard has already had a busy year with the launch of Diablo IV (and, you know, that whole getting acquired by Microsoft thing), but the studio still has one more big release for 2023: Warcraft Rumble, a free-to-play strategy mobile game releasing on November 3.

October 5th Hotfixes - Missing Warcraft Rumble Foils & Toys
Blizzard has updated the hotfix blog, correcting an issue with Aerial Halt sometimes not regenerating vigor, and fixing bugs causing Warcraft Rumble promotion event foils and toys to not be correctly awarded. Missing rewards should now be obtainable by interacting with the Rumble Machine.
