SEGA has released the launch trailer for “The Final Horizon” update for Sonic Frontiers, which is due out today at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET.

Leading up to the October 5 release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for the title featuring music by OneRepublic and Mishaal Tamer. The trailer gives us a look at Baghdad as the game’s primary setting, while also showcasing the assassination prowess of protagonist Basim. Check it out below.

Assassin’s Creed fans are preparing to dive into a brand-new adventure this coming month. The next game was unveiled to take players to 9th-century Baghdad, where we will follow Basim Ibn Ishaq in his journey of becoming a member of the Assassin Brotherhood. While the game was initially set to release later in the month of October, the developers managed to get this game done ahead of schedule. Today, a new launch was released as we wait for October 5, 2023, to finally arrive.

There’s a hoop on a pole at either end of the court and the one rule is to sink the sphere through yours better than the other crew can through theirs.  Technically there’s no limit on the number of ways you could do this, whether that be a bank-shot off the backboard or swishing it on through with an arcing shot, but robots care little for such imprecision.  The only sure method of getting a glowing energy orb through a hoop is by shoving it through with great force, preferably ending with hanging off the rim because a robot’s job isn’t just a utilitarian completion of function but also looking good while doing it.

CD Projekt have dropped the launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, in great news for fans of driving-combat-cutscene montages and wailing, rain-slicked theme tunes, but less great news, apparently, for mega fans of the male-presenting incarnation of player character V, voiced by Gavin Drea. I haven't touched Cyberpunk since release in 2020, and I'm sort of intrigued to discover that the female-presenting version of the protagonist, voiced by Cherami Leigh, has become the default for marketing purposes.

Cyberpunk 2077 has made a remarkable turnaround with last week’s launch of the comprehensive Update 2.0, and that turnaround is set to be cemented with its upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty. Out imminently, to further ratchet up the hype for its impending release, CD Projekt RED has released a new launch trailer to give you a taste of what the expansion will have in store. There’s quite a bit of hype and a resurgence with Cyberpunk 2077. The video game, as you all know, had a very rocky launch. This title was filled with bugs and technical issues that even prompted Sony to remove the game completely from their PlayStation Store. So, with all these issues clearly present with the base game, CD Projekt Red was forced to scrap most of its post-launch content planned. Instead, the developers went to work to ensure the game met their standards. That took a lot of time, but we’re finally at that point where you can enjoy the game. However, tomorrow will be the official release of the only expansion CD Projekt Red is bringing to the game. 

A new trailer is out today in celebration of its launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Mortal Kombat 1's recent launch on Nintendo Switch will undoubtedly go down as one of the most abysmal that the games industry has ever seen. Downgrades were expected due to the system's inferior hardware, but the port is filled with bugs, horrendous texture issues, and is nowhere near the quality you'd expect from a game being sold for $70. It looks remarkably worse than it did in the game's pre-release trailers, and it turns out there might be a good reason for that.

Fans aren’t happy with the Mortal Kombat 1 launch trailer for Nintendo Switch, and I don’t blame them. At around the 1:53 mark in the video, a Steam achievement is clearly visible in the bottom right corner. It’s not unusual for trailers to feature footage from the PC version of their game, however, it’s a bit disingenuous in this case. There technically is a “Footage Not Final” message but I think there’s a difference between not final, and simply footage from a different version altogether.

Pretty much since the remake of Resident Evil 4 was released in March (yes, it’s been six months since it launched), fans have been clamoring for the “Separate Ways” DLC. The upcoming expansion was confirmed during Sony’s State of Play, and now a new trailer has been doing the rounds.

Lies of P is a game that has quite a following. Fans quickly took up with the look of the gameplay design and an interesting twist to a children’s tale. However, what fans were not expecting was the development team releasing the game ahead of its official launch date. Today was supposed to be the official release of Lies of P, but if you recall, yesterday, we saw the sudden launch of the game, which gave some fans a chance to get a chance to play through the campaign early.
