Virtual reality roguelike action game Mecha Force to be published by MyDearest

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Byking have released a new trailer for two-versus-two action game Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash introducing the gameplay systems.

Publisher ATLUS and developer Studio Zero shared new information on the setting, tribes, prologue, and unique gameplay mechanics of fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio during today’s end-of-year broadcast with the voice cast.

While last night’s Game Awards show primarily focused on the biggest games of 2023 and the most anticipated titles for next year and beyond, one of 2022’s best games also got a fresh announcement that players will be able to check out very soon.

Developer Amazing Seasun has unveiled its new mech-based multiplayer action game Mecha BREAK. The game was announced with a trailer showcasing its fast-paced gameplay, and will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the trailer below.

Mecha Break is an new multiplayer co-op mech game by Seasun Games that premiered during The Game Awards tonight. Fans of games like Armored Core VI and Zone of the Enders may want to keep it on their radar.

Developer Surgent Studios has announced its new side-scrolling action game at The Game Awards 2023, focusing quite a bit on the developer’s African heritage for its themes. Titled Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, the trailer shows off quite a bit of the game’s hack-and-slash gameplay, as well as traversal abilities. Check out the trailer below.

We wouldn't blame you for forgetting all about Arad Chronicle: Khazan — the action RPG that was announced over a year ago, back in November 2022. Developed by South Korean outfit Neople, the game takes place in the world of Dungeon Fighter Online — a popular PC title in Asian territories. Pronty developer 18Light Game has announced boss rush action game NanoApostle for PC (Steam). It will launch in 2024 with English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese language support.

Furi, indie studio The Game Bakers' action shoot-'em-up, made a rainbow-shaded splash when it released in 2016. It lured players in by being small, but as mighty as a redwood trunk, offering up boss fights, neon projectiles, and quick sword combos in its packed six-ish hour runtime. But despite its spectacle, Furi has ducked under the radar over the years. If you haven't yet checked it out, the '90s-style demake that The Game Bakers just released for free on Steam is a great place to start.

YUKIKAZE, STUDIO WILDROSE, and Natsume Atari have announced Penny Blood: Hellbound, a roguelike companion game set in the world of the upcoming RPG Penny Blood. It will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam in February 2024, followed by a full release in the summer. A closed beta version featuring around 10 hours of gameplay will launch for Penny Blood backers via Backerkit on December 14.
