Gone are the pandemic-era days of pop stars performing in their living rooms(Opens in a new window) and getting glammed up for an at-home gala(Opens in a new window). But even though entertainment and events are in-person again, that doesn’t mean everyone wants them to be.
Jugo released a report titled The Future of Virtual Events 2023,(Opens in a new window) and 64.1% of those surveyed still want the option to attend concerts and other events online.
Getting tickets to this summer’s most popular concerts, Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour and Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, is nearly impossible and prohibitively expensive. And even if someone can afford tickets and score them, there’s the issue of getting to the concert. There are limited venues (Beyoncé is performing in 40 cities, Swift in 20), and accessibility is a major issue for many, including those with autoimmune disorders who can't risk packed stadiums during a pandemic.
Given the chance to attend a concert virtually, 17% of respondents would choose Beyoncé, 15.6% for Taylor Swift, 13.9% for Drake, 13.6% for Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks, 8.4% for Carrie Underwood, 7.4% for Bruce Springsteen, 6.4% for Blink-182, 5.9% for the Jonas Brothers, and 5.8% for Madonna.
Swifties said their desire for an online concert was driven by sold-out tickets (25.3%) and wanting a budget-friendly virtual option (38.8%).
While you can’t see Eras on a screen, Hulu is streaming all of Lollapalooza live(Opens in a new window) from Aug. 3-6. Subscribers can watch headliner Billie Eilish along with Rina Sawayama, Karol G, Pusha T, and the rest of the full lineup along with the crowds in Chicago, all in their own homes.

Fans of Bethesda have known Starfield was always going to be an absolute behemoth of a game, but now we know it's even bigger than we initially thought, at least in terms of its install size.

Let's face it, humans have a natural tendency to fear the unknown. The Terminator, The Matrix, and movies like them have implanted the seed that AI is bad. Killer cyborgs and malevolent AI have become a part of the public consciousness. The rise of the AI industry has even led to extinction level concerns… from the AI industry.
Every now and then astronomers and researchers discover new objects in space and it's shocking to see that our universe holds so many mysteries. It is not unusual for researchers to find new planets and stars which are similar to or more massive than our planets. However, what's intriguing is that these new planets hold such different properties when compared to the actual theories of the stars and planets. One such intriguing object has just been found. A huge brown dwarf has been spotted by astronomers and it is being said that it is larger than Jupiter, but hotter than the Sun.
Larian Studios revealed to the world that you can fuck a bear in Baldur's Gate 3 back in July and fans went wild. Well, Halsin in the form of a bear, but cmon. You're fucking a bear. But it can get even weirder later on in the game if you keep an open mind and are okay with embarrassing yourself to your entire party.
The subject of one big change is Scratch, a dog (an actual dog, not a disguised demon from the Nine Hells) who can be recruited into your party as a loyal and trustworthy pet. You can pet Scratch and play fetch with him, and following the update he'll also be able to sniff out good spots to dig for treasure himself, which will hopefully lead him to discover more and better things to bring to you.
I like Karlach—she's got the energy of a golden retriever despite being able to rip and tear until the job is done. I am, however, impressed by how untouched her face is. Her body's a mess of muscle and scar tissue, but her visage? Pristine, untouched. Well, if you ever wanted her to be more battle-damaged, the modding community's got you.
We now know where Greta Gerwig's Barbie Land would be located in the real world – and science says it wouldn't be California.
Being powered by the Dungeons & Dragon's 5th edition, Baldur's Gate 3 features classes seen in the tabletop RPG, with some tweaks to make them work better in a video game setting. These classes are essentially different fighting styles that determine what any given character is good at.
