Vampire Survivors coming to PS5 and PS4 this summer, DLC ‘Operation Guns feat. Contra’ announced

Unveiled last night at the IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase, Vampire Survivors has received a free new update called Laborratory (yes, with two 'r's). It includes one new character, one secret character, three weapons, one stage, and a bonus go-cart racing stage. But perhaps most importantly of all, Poncle say they'll answer the question that's been on everyone's lips: "Why is it called Santa Water?". This is something that's puzzled me since the game's inception, and therefore, I will be thrusting myself back into the game where there are, in fact, no vampires at all. I need to know.

poncle’s Vampire Survivors is gearing up for some Contra collaboration DLC next week, but for now, a free new update is available. Version 1.10 “Laborratory” adds seven new Achievements, a new Challenge Stage, a new Bonus Stage and a new character. Check out the trailer below to see it all in action.

Moonana and Serenity Forge revealed a new gameplay trailer for Keylocker during the recent ID@Xbox Showcase, and it looks more sumptuous than ever. The turn-based cyberpunk rhythm RPG launches this Summer and will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Palworld has been on one a hell of a run since launching earlier this year, breaking records and generating plenty of conversation, and developer Pocket Pair has been busy teasing new content. The most recent of these teases came during today’s ID@Xbox indie showcase, which gave us a peek at what we can expect from the game’s big summer update. The teaser showed off four new Pokemon-esque Pals, as well as a flamethrower weapon. Vampire Survivors has announced and shadow dropped the surprise Laborratory Update. Developer Luca Galante, aka poncle, calls the Laborratory Update an AAAA upgrade, as it is the biggest free update Vampire Survivors has ever had to date, adding new features and animations to the game.

If it weren’t enough to see Bandai Namco announce free updates and new story content for Tekken 8 this year, it also outlined its roadmap for Season 1 DLC fighters. The last time we wrote about Distance was just under a decade ago, when it was announced the game was coming to PS4. In the intervening years, the high-intensity arcade racer has been through a prolonged stint of early access and had its full launch on PC, but the PS4 version never surfaced. Now, thanks to a Trophy list appearing online, it seems the title is finally approaching the finish line — and it's coming to PS5 as well.

The Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord remake by Digital Eclipse will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG on May 23, the developer announced.

The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of Adventure Bar Story are now available via PlayStation Store for $19.99 worldwide, developer RideonJapan announced. The Switch version will follow via Nintendo eShop on April 25, followed by a newly announced PC (Steam) version on May 9.

Indie slam dunk Vampire Survivors has officially been confirmed for a PS5 and PS4 release and is expected to enthral millions when it arrives this Summer. Trophy Hunters will be glad to know the devs have confirmed a Platinum Trophy awaits those willing to undergo a true nightmare to obtain it.

Red Hook Studios’ acclaimed roguelike turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon 2 is finally launching for PlayStation. After launching last year on PC on the back of an extended early access period, the game will be releasing for PS5 and PS4 on July 15, Red Hook Studios announced in a PlayStation Blog post. The classic survival horror game Dementium: The Ward is finally coming to non-portable consoles and will be released on PS4 and PS5 on April 19. Developed by Renegade Kid, Dementium: The Ward originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2007 and received a 3DS port in 2015. While the game received overall mixed reviews when it first launched, it has gained somewhat of a cult following and is now considered by many to have been generally underrated.
