Unauthorized Spider-Man 2 PC Port Is 'Never Releasing'

One Marvel's Spider-Man 2 player accidentally came across a funny yet frustrating bug while web-swinging in the game. The game has been out for around three months now, and while many players have already completed it to 100%, many others have still been finding bugs and glitches that make for a hilarious Spider-Man 2 experience.

Horizon: Forbidden West has confirmed all of the upgraded features coming with the game's «Complete Edition» release on PC, also revealing the PC version's release date. The highly-anticipated Horizon: Zero Dawn sequel from PlayStation Studios and Guerrilla Games launched to massive fanfare in early 2022 as a PS5 exclusive. The sequel saw both fan and critical acclaim for Forbidden West's expansive world and received multiple awards nominations, including a nomination for «Game of the Year» at the 2022 Game Awards. Now, the beloved sequel is gearing up for plenty of new features with its PC launch.

Some eagle-eyed fans think they saw Tommy Vercetti’s island mansion in the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal trailer. Even before Rockstar officially gave players a look at Grand Theft Auto 6, there were many rumors that the next entry in the infamous open-world crime series would return to Vice City, which serves as the GTA universe’s version of Miami. Grand Theft Auto 6 will take players to Leonida, the Florida-inspired state that Vice City is located in, and sure enough, an alternate universe version of the troubled town could be seen in the game’s trailer.

PlayStation’s next wave of first-party PC ports has been leaked online, and if this rumor is true then some of the company’s biggest exclusives are branching out in 2024. While Sony’s staple of first-party studios has naturally focused on making exclusive titles for PlayStation consoles, Sony has been working toward bringing some of these games to a wider PC audience in recent years. This has had mixed results so far, with titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and 2018’s God of War finding major success while others like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and The Last of Us Part 1 struggling to make sales on PC outlets like Steam.

Peter Parker and Miles Morales had a heck of a time tackling Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but judging by cut content that's recently come to light, they got off lightly.

According to new leaks, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 originally had several symbiote bosses and even some plot points that were cut from the game before its release last year. The sequel to Insomniac Games’ hit superhero game launched to rave reviews and massive support from fans in October and players are still enjoying the title and discussing the franchise. Observers are already speculating about possible Peter Parker storylines for Spider-Man 3, and plenty of gamers are already waiting for DLC for the current entry.

The upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will see veteran voice actor Troy Baker play the titular treasure hunter. Bethesda revealed that it is working on an Indiana Jones video game back in 2021, with subsidiary Wolfenstein studio MachineGames on developmental duties. There has been very little official information in the years since the Indiana Jones game’s first 30-second teaser trailer was shown, save that it is being produced exclusively for PC and Xbox consoles following Microsoft’s buyout of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media in 2021.

A divisive Tekken 8 accessibility feature is reportedly being altered ahead of launch after concerns that it could lead to players being hospitalized. Many video games have taken great strides in making sure that everyone can enjoy them over the past few years, and fans got to see some of Tekken 8’s accessibility features when its free demo was released in early December. These included color filters that are meant to help colorblind players see the onscreen action and menu UI elements that they would have difficulty with otherwise.

It was such a big hit that it didn’t take long before they released Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Then, fast forward a bit, and we saw the official Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launch into the marketplace. That had quite a few fans eager to pick up a PlayStation 5 console alone to experience this game. Unfortunately, the famed development studio that brought these games out was recently hit with a ransomware attack.
