UK Prime Day Blockbuster 36% Discount on the Inimitable DEEBOT T20 OMNI Goes Live

With Halloween soon to be upon us, GOG is holding a Halloween sale, with discounts on more than 3,000 games. And as it often does, it's also giving one away. This time around it's Blacksad: Under the Skin, the tale of a private detective named John Blacksad who's investigating a dark corruption scandal at the heart of 1950s New York City.

While Halloween isn't massively celebrated here in Oz, we sure do take a heightened interest in those spooky sales. (Because, hell, I'll break out the festive spirit if there's up to 85% off in my future.) That's all I really have time to say, intro wise, as I suspect today's deals on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Resident Evil 4 will be blink and you'll miss 'em affairs. Happy hunting!

Here we are again, friends. Deep in the Wednesday grind, but peering ahead for ways to make the weekend awesome. In interesting cost-of-living times such as these, you and I can always look to games as the greatest (and cheapest) forms of escape. I got a bunch of those today; however, it's also a pretty great time to consider a steering wheel purchase. Especially on Xbox, for all my fellow Forza fans.

If you adore the Metal Gear series as much as I do, then today's your day. I have scoured my Soliton Radar for discounts that will let you secure a classic like Metal Gear Solid and remain financially liquid. The only foreseable problem: the Master Collections of these games do seem to be selling out quite rapidly on PlayStation and Xbox. Here's hoping stock levels remain stable (or get quickly refreshed via nanomachines).

Thanks to its incredible day-one sales, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has become the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game ever. 

Players may eventually stumble upon Akabi’s Wheel at the Circus of the Last Days in when they start exploring the initial area of Act 3. The carnival-like event in Rivington is a large show with several attractions, including the Zethino love test in , which can increase the player’s romance reputation with their desired companion character. Within the special area, which needs to be accessed through the main gate after some careful inspection or by lockpicking a side gate, players may encounter a djinni called Akabi, who is supervising a special wheel that can be spun for prizes.

Spider-Man 2 will receive a New Game+ mode as part of a post-launch update, later this year. As per Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson, just like the 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man, those looking to replay the title and mop up all the side quests might have to wait a bit, though for now, simply beating it once grants access to an ‘Ultimate' difficulty setting for a fresh playthrough. For the uninitiated, a New Game + mode generally allows players to plunge back into a game's campaign in an overpowered state, as the in-game character carries over all unlocked abilities, tools and weapons, and gear upgrades.

Marvel’s Spider-Man didn’t include the option to replay the story in New Game Plus mode when it first launched in 2018. But Insomniac wasn’t lazing about in a hammock made of webbing, either. The developer launched the feature roughly six weeks after launch. Is it coming to the sequel? Oh yes, and now we (roughly) know when: before the end of this year.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 mightn't be out yet, but if your excitement is so vast you're already pondering a second play-through, you'll be pleased to know the game will — like its predecessor — be getting a New Game Plus mode, but it'll be arriving sometime after launch.

Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will receive New Game Plus and mission replay after launch, but they won't be coming via the Day One patch.

Yesterday, we learned Insomniac Games recommends players download the day one patch for the «best experience» before starting the first mission, and now, we've learned when to expect the fan-favorite New Game Plus feature in the sequel.
