Players may eventually stumble upon Akabi’s Wheel at the Circus of the Last Days in when they start exploring the initial area of Act 3. The carnival-like event in Rivington is a large show with several attractions, including the Zethino love test in , which can increase the player’s romance reputation with their desired companion character. Within the special area, which needs to be accessed through the main gate after some careful inspection or by lockpicking a side gate, players may encounter a djinni called Akabi, who is supervising a special wheel that can be spun for prizes.
These prizes can include different types of weapons and even gear. A notable reward, for instance, is the Reverse Rain Cloak, which ensures the equipping character is always wet. Akabi seems to be rooting for the player to hit the wheel’s jackpot, which will grant them a special prize. Each spin of Akabi’s wheel costs 500 gold, which should not be too much at this point in the game, but several spins can severely reduce the player’s savings. To win Akabi’s jackpot in , it will be necessary to follow a few steps, as victory with the Wheel of Wonders is not ensured.

Not only is victory not ensured, but players are actually bound to never win the jackpot, as Akabi’s wheel is rigged in. This means that, regardless of how many times players spin the wheel, they will always lose. They will get some miscellaneous rewards for each spin, but none that are actually worth the 500 gold investment. To realize that the wheel has been tampered with, players should use a character with a high Wisdom stat to pass a Perception check. This is not absolutely necessary but will allow them to understand that Akabi has been taking advantage of visitors to the Circus of the Last Days.
Upon passing the Perception check and realizing that Akabi’s wheel has been rigged, players will get the option of accusing him. If they want to avoid an unnecessary nuisance, they should not do this – angry, Akabi will transform them temporarily into a wheel of cheese. It is a funny moment, but one that takes far too long to dispel. Nevertheless, players are encouraged to spin the wheel a second time, but only after completing a small task. The source of the wheel’s tampering in is Djinni Ring, an item equipped on Akabi’s beard. While he has the ring, it is impossible to hit the jackpot.
The best way of getting rid of it is by making a character pickpocket Akabi. A rogue-like character such as Astarion in should have a higher success rate when messing with the djinni’s belongings. Akabi has other items that can be stolen, but it may not be the risk. Nevertheless, stealing from this

Ex-Keywords Studios QA testers, who worked on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, will picket in front of BioWare’s Edmonton office on Tuesday. BioWare attempted to block the picket with an appeal to the Alberta Labour Relations Board, according to industry publication Game Developer, but the board ruled in the union’s favor. “The hope with our actions is [to] convince Keywords to reinstate those they terminated with new work,” former Keywords tester James Russwurm told Polygon.

A fan-made Bloodborne racing game based on an April Fools’ joke is nearing completion, and now has a release date.
This could just be how I process sad news, but whenever one of my fave actors or singers passes, I go and relive their best work. With the late great Matthew Perry, my brain connects him to three different mediums. In the sitcom Friends, I'll cherish him as Chandler Bing, aka Miss Chanandler Bong. He also shone as Oz, the slapstick dentist from the film The Whole Nine Yards. Most importantly, I'll remember when he used his considerable talent to play against type as Benny in Fallout: New Vegas.
Netflix is looking really good in November, with high-profile series and movie premieres for just about everybody. We've got a new David Fincher flick, some reality TV goodness, the real-life Squid Game, anime both American and Japanese, and way more. While Halloween isn't massively celebrated here in Oz, we sure do take a heightened interest in those spooky sales. (Because, hell, I'll break out the festive spirit if there's up to 85% off in my future.) That's all I really have time to say, intro wise, as I suspect today's deals on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Resident Evil 4 will be blink and you'll miss 'em affairs. Happy hunting!
