Three Yakuza games leaving PlayStation Plus next month

Puzzlebox solve ‘em up The Room entered the scene ten years ago, so developers Fireproof Games are celebrating the milestone anniversary with deep discounts across the entire slightly spooky series. From September 1st to September 14th, every single game in the puzzler series will enjoy a discount of up to 90% on Steam. Similarly big sales are taking place across the Nintendo eShop (until September 22nd) and the Google Play Store (until September 8th), if you wanted to take the lovely headscratchers on the go. Or to the comfort of your own bed.

Today we’re happy to reveal the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August. The Monthly Games lineup of PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams Universe and Death’s Door will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, August 1 until Monday September 4.

The next Pokémon Presents will take place on 8th August.

Sony has today announced the retro-inspired PS5, PS4 RPG Sea of Stars will launch straight into PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium on its release date of 29th August 2023. It will be part of the August 2023 service refresh, arriving at the end of the month, and you can get a taste of it right now with a demo available on the PS Store. Xbox may be doing away with its monthly rotation of free games for subscribers at its lowest tier, but Sony is still going strong with a new trio of PS5 and PS4 games for PlayStation Plus subscribers at any tier, including one of their own first-party releases.

PlayStation Plus' monthly free games for August 2023 have been announced. The three titles will be available to members of PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/ Premium plans, starting August 1. Members can compete to become the next FedExCup Champion in PGA Tour 2K23, slay armies of fantastical beasts and demigods in Death's Door, and dive into the ever-changing universe of Dreams, which is laden with community-created games and tools to unleash your creativity. These games can be added to your PS4 and PS5 games library until September 4, after which you'll need to hold on to your PS Plus subscription for continued access.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will only see a digital launch later this year. 

Sony has named its offering of games available to all PlayStation Plus members for the month of August.

A new month is on the horizon, which means that it’s that time again for Sony to wow us with the PlayStation Plus additions for August 2023. If you were looking for another sports game you’re in luck as headlining August’s lineup is PGA Tour 2K23. The other two additions for this month are digital playground Dreams and Action-Adventure RPG Death’s Door.

There’s no clear headliner here, but a trio of nifty titles are about to drop, including the incredible Zelda-ish adventure Death’s Door and a little-known golf sim called PGA Tour 2K23. Also in the lineup is Media Molecule’s long-running game-making platform Dreams.
