The next Yakuza game won't have a physical release

Xbox has announced the remaining set of games to be added to the Game Pass library over the next couple of weeks.

On July 28, Square Enix’s Creative Business Unit III unveiled the newest expansion for Final Fantasy 14, Dawntrail, at the 2023 FF14 Fan Festival. The energy on the show floor was electric, especially since it had been several years since a physical Fan Festival took place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the recent August 2023 Pokemon Presents stream was a disappointment for some, Scarlet & Violet fans at least had a little bit to chew on. Amid the announcement that this generation’s first expansion was just around the corner, we also got word that Mewtwo would be coming to the game in September via a Tera Raid event. That’s neat at least!

With the launch of Diablo 4, players who prefer the classic Diablo 3 may have been feeling a bit left out — but not for much longer! Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher has confirmed that Diablo 3 will receive patch notes in the coming weeks, likely to announce a new Season. While information is sparse, especially given the focus on Diablo 4's first Season, we'll update as we know more in the future.

Typically Nintendo rolls out My Nintendo rewards for upcoming or recently-released first-party games, but this time they’re returning to July 2022’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which just hosted a newish DLC. The reward is a coaster set priced at a whopping 700 Platinum Points, and it comes with four coasters and two sticker sheets.

NatsumeAtari and ININ have announced that the next retro revival from Tengo Project will be Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn. This is described as a “completely new production” but is based on the 1990 NES game, Shadow of the Ninja, also known as Blue Shadow in Europe and Yami no Shigotonin Kage in Japan. It’s set for release in Spring 2024.

It’s been a busy weekend for fans of the fighting genre, with major new updates having been released for the likes of Mortal Kombat 1, Tekken 8, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and more. Street Fighter 6 is, of course, already out, unlike those titles, but it’s got new content in the pipeline as well, and Capcom showed off a glimpse of what that’ll be with a new trailer at Evo.

Zomato, the popular food delivery app, has embarked on a new experiment by introducing a flat ₹2 platform fee on certain orders in select markets. This nominal fee is levied per order, regardless of the cart value, applying to all users, including those enrolled in the Zomato Gold loyalty program. While the exact markets where the platform fee is being tested remain undisclosed, it appears to be an attempt to explore new avenues for profitability and enhance the overall user experience.

We only just reviewed the ROG Ally, and it’s already been dethroned as the “most powerful handheld gaming PC yet.” Or at least, it’s going to have to scoot over a little and let the Ayaneo 2S squeeze in. The two portable PCs have a lot in common: They both have 7-inch displays, they both run Windows 11, they both sport Zen 4-based AMD APUs and they both want to draw your attention away from the cheaper, older, bigger, but fan-favorite Steam Deck.

The introduction of Spider-Boy has been one of Marvel's most intriguing developments this year. Peter Parker's supposedly long-lost sidekick, created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos, has proved so popular that, a couple of weeks back, Marvel unveiled a whole host of variant covers featuring loads of other potential "lost" sidekicks dubbed "New Champions".
