A Palworld player has put together a list of features and content spotted in some of its early trailers that aren't in the game yet. Palworld is an early access game, which means that it's still missing a lot of its features. New Palworld updates will be released over time that add new content to the game, eventually bringing it to its 1.0 release.
Developer Pocketpair has released a Palworld content roadmap to give fans an idea of what to expect from the open world survival game. The team's first priority is squashing Palworld's bugs, but when that's done, it will look at adding new features to the game. Some of the promised new Palworld features include a PvP arena, new Pals, new islands to explore, and Raid bosses for endgame players.
It's possible that there are even more Palworld features on the way, as many things spotted in the game's early trailers aren't actually available yet. This was pointed out by Reddit user Unhappy_Panic_1875, who created a slideshow highlighting some of the features from early Palworld trailers that have yet to make their debut. Some of the more interesting items include a rideable cart pulled by Direhowls, a sniper rifle with a scope, a lasso, the ability to build rocket ships, fishing, ships, a floating sky kingdom, and a gigantic whale-like Pal that can apparently fly.
Now, it's possible some of these features will come to Palworld as part of future updates. In fact, it's already been confirmed that Palworld is getting a PvP arena, presumably similar to the one spotted in the early trailers. However, it's also possible that some of these ideas have been scrapped and won't actually be featured in the game. Fans should keep that in mind before getting too excited about any of these potential features, as some may wind up left on the cutting room floor.
Regardless, it will be very exciting to see how Palworld evolves. Palworld may not be the top Steam game like it was at the time of its release, but it's easy to see how future updates could very easily bring lapsed players back into the fold.

Helldivers 2 is a PlayStation console exclusive, so it’s not available on Xbox Series X or S. Not only has Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer voiced his disappointment in this, but so have many Helldivers 2 players, who are asking for more backup in the fight against the Terminids and Automatons.
This month's games for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium have been revealed, with 13 titles being added across the two tiers. We suppose the biggest talking point is that subscribers are getting four Tales games, including the very well received Tales of Arise, which released back in 2021.
A Palworld player suggested that the game should add a padlock icon to prevent Pals from being sold, butchered, or condensed by accident. Palworld quickly became one of the most popular releases of the year, achieving impressive numbers in both sales and concurrent players. But despite all the success in almost a month, Palworld players are starting to notice the absence of some features that could improve the experience even more.
Palworld was announced and has been in development since 2021, and thanks to a switch in development software early on, from Unity to Unreal Engine 4, the game has undergone huge changes since the release of the original announcement trailers and early additional trailers.
OpenAI is far ahead in the AI race as it recently introduced Sora, its new video generation tool, which is taking the industry by storm. However, Apple has just started exploring AI and developing proper use cases for the technology. Despite Apple's late entry into the AI world, it is reported that iOS 18 will be the company's biggest update for the iPhone, considering the number of features it will bring to the table. According to a new report, Apple is training Siri and Spotlight Search with its large language models, which will be part of Apple's big iOS 18 announcement at WWDC.
Though is filled with a ton of game mechanics with less emphasis on the lore or narrative, the giant tree in the top left of the screen has sparked the interest of many of the 19 million people who have hopped into the game since it was originally released. Without a direct story in beyond the Journal entries scattered throughout the Palpagos Islands, it's left to players' imagination as to what the giant tree is and what it could mean for the game's Pal population.
During today's highly anticipated Xbox Podcast, Microsoft confirmed that while four Xbox games are going to other platforms, big titles like Starfield and Indiana Jones are remaining exclusive for now. Nevertheless, Xbox boss Phil Spencer believes that exclusive games are going to become much less important in the industry over the next decade.
As enjoyable as already is, some teased content that didn't make the launch should be re-added in the future. These features were cut because 's development shifted the engine from Unity to Unreal Engine 5. It has been duly reported that the team had little to no experience using the new engine, which is likely the cause for this missing content. For this content to have been in the game at launch, it is likely players wouldn't have seen 's release, early-access or otherwise, anytime soon.
If you told me at the start of the year that Palworld would break Steam records, I would've done a hearty "no no" chuckle. But here we are, with the survival game exceeding 19 million players and Pocketpair probably wondering how they managed such a feat. With its success has come the inevitable slew of impatient people saying the game's dead because it's not received updates fast enough, or folks saying it's lost a hefty percentage of its player base, and others saying its viewership numbers over on streaming services have plummeted. Palworld's community manager Bucky has gently reminded folks that not only is this discourse "lazy", but to play other games instead.
Almost a month afterPalworld’s successful early-access launch, Pocketpair community manager ‘Bucky’ has been reflecting on his expectations for the game prior to its launch, and revealed that in May last year, reaching anything above 50,000 players seemed impossible.
Thanks to trailers and other pre-release content, Palworld players have spotted six Pals that have yet to be added to the open world survival game. Currently, there are technically 137 Pals in Palworld, though only 111 completely original creatures. The other 26 Pals are variants of existing Pals that, somewhat similar to regional variants in the Pokemon games, have a different typing than their base form.
