Microsoft’s top-tier Xbox console keeps getting cheaper. It seemed like a big deal when the Xbox Series X fell to $350 just a couple of weeks ago, but now Best Buy is selling it through one of its limited in-app “drop” sales for a new low of $339.99 ($160 off).
To take advantage of the deal, you’ll need a free Best Buy account and the retailer’s app. If the direct links here don’t take you right to the listing within Best Buy’s app to buy the Series X at the discounted price, then look toward the bottom strip of icons in the app and click the Drops icon in the middle. (It depicts a downward arrow.) The deal is available today only until 6PM ET / 3PM PT or when inventory runs out. Best Buy has a live inventory tracker, which hasn’t ticked down much since the drop went live, though once you click to buy it, you may be put in a short queue.
The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, serving as its most powerful (and biggest) option focused on fast, 4K gameplay.
With all of these recent massive deals on the Xbox Series X, it’s easy to envision that, in addition to greasing holiday sales, Microsoft may be clearing out retailer inventory before a potential revised version comes out next year — one we saw much of in Microsoft’s recent FTC leaks. But even if a 2TB, all-digital Xbox Series X really does happen in 2024, that doesn’t change the fact that the beautifully boxy model that’s been with us since 2020 is a great value at $340.
The Series X supports 4K gaming at up to 120Hz, and features like Quick Resume are supremely handy when bouncing between games with little waiting. Plus, this deal at Best Buy should arrive in time for Christmas if you’re looking to “win” the holidays for your family.

All throughout 2023, we saw plenty of people asking whether the year would go down as one of the best ever periods for new game releases. Indeed, it was an objectively stacked 12 months — and we're not even thinking about non-PlayStation platforms when we write that.
Microsoft has expanded its Xbox themed kitchen appliance offering with a new entry — the Xbox Series S toaster.
First, there was the Xbox Series X mini-fridge, and now the Series S gets its own appliance in the form of a toaster. Bread will never be the same again.
Not only is the Xbox Series S a pretty great game console, especially for those on a budget, but it turns out that it's also pretty handy at turning bread into toast. Who knew? Well, nobody, but you can now buy a toaster that looks very much like an Xbox Series S so really, who's laughing now?
For those who grew up with the Pokémon TCG, the Classic box is one of the best ways to get back into it. Normally $399.99, this collector’s box set is currently discounted to $319.99 at Amazon and Best Buy (its lowest price ever). And while the cards may bring back memories, the rest of this set takes a more mature approach to the game you remember.
In news that is likely to bring joy to gaming fans and breakfast enthusiasts the world over, the infamous Xbox Series S toaster of rumour and legend has been spotted for sale at Walmart, causing those of you desperate for more gaming themed accessories in your home to rejoice in the streets. Ok, not really. But look, it toasts an Xbox logo into the bread!

Nearly a year after alleged images first appeared, the officially licensed Xbox Series S toaster has been confirmed.
You've probably heard of and puzzled over the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge. Why would anyone need such a product? You could justify it, saying energy drinks and beers are essential for your gaming sessions, but what about breakfast items? You can now have your daily bread with a massive Xbox symbol burned into it, thanks to the Xbox Series S toaster.
