The Wolf Among Us 2 Still in Production, According to Telltale

The Wolf Among Us 2 is the eagerly anticipated sequel to one of Telltale's most beloved games, but news of the endeavour has been surprisingly scarce. Last we heard, the game had been delayed and would not be released in 2023. Thankfully, a familiar face has kept the flame of hope alive.

If you can believe it, The Wolf Among Us 2 was first announced back in 2019. It's been nothing but bad news ever since, with various delays pushing the game back further and further, finally ending with a vague release date of 2024 that we have no idea Telltale will actually be able to meet. Thankfully, we've had a few positive updates recently, including confirmation the game is still in development, and now we have some new screenshots to pore over.

Rainbow Six Siege's «Reputation» mechanic is still reportedly seeing a number of problems with its implementation, notably incorrectly flagging players for harmful in-game behavior. Honor systems have been a staple of plenty of online games, encouraging players to practice good sportsmanship and treat fellow players with respect. Competitive games like League of Legends have often featured special rewards tied to honor systems, including Chests for players to acquire new League of Legends skins. Now, Siege's honor system is seeing a few hiccups.

Telltale Games' long-in-the-works The Wolf Among Us 2 has resurfaced with new screenshots following last year's delay, with the studio saying it's «been heads down» on the project.

When The Wolf Among Us 2 was re-announced five years ago, many had hoped that the game would finally have a smooth development cycle on the road to launch, but it has hit a number of significant stumbles behind-the-scenes since that time, and that launch has continued to be pushed back. Recently, developer Telltale Games broke months of silence on the game by sharing four new gameplay screenshots, accompanying which, the developer has also issued a brief statement.

A few hours ago, Geoff Keighley himself shared four new screenshots of The Wolf Among Us 2 on Twitter. The long-anticipated sequel has been in the works for several years now at Telltale, ever since the announcement at The Game Awards 2019.

New screenshots have been revealed for The Wolf Among Us 2. The video game adaptation of Bill Willingham's Fables comics has been long-anticipated. The first Wolf Among Us game began its release in 2013, ultimately publishing a complete collection of all five episodes in 2015. Since then, fans have been excited to see a return to Bigby Wolf's story, as the game and comics have left enough potential for plenty of other parts of the world to explore in The Wolf Among Us 2.

Five years after it was first announced, The Wolf Among Us 2 is "now in production" at Telltale, and here are four new screenshots to prove it. 

Plenty of long-awaited video games remain in development for years, seeing starts, stops and even restarts. Telltale Games’ The Wolf Among Us 2 is no exception, but like the Big Bad Wolf himself, it’s still kicking. Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley announced that the project has entered production and shared some new images.

Nintendo has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is coming to the Switch in July as a timed console exclusive. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans on other platforms aren't out of luck, as this wording suggests the mobile game is coming to additional consoles later on.

Pokemon GO players aren't happy with the reveal of the «Rediscover Kanto» event, as the community feels fatigued with Generation 1. Initially, the event was teased alongside multiple updates and a new way for Pokemon GO players to «rediscover» the popular mobile game.
