The most-played Steam Deck games list is full of amazing time sinks

The Steam Deck is considered by many fans to be the king of PC gaming handhelds. While Valve is miles away from seriously challenging Nintendo’s market position, and their own device can’t run all games on Steam, it still endures as one of the most popular devices in the category. It may very well be the best seller out of all of them, thanks to a combination of its early market lead, its now global distribution network, and the ease of use with SteamOS compared to Windows.

The first wave of Game Pass titles for April has been announced with Superhot: Mind Control Delete is out now for cloud, console and PC players. Tomorrow sees the arrival of LEGO 2K Drive, Visual Concepts’ take on an open-world LEGO racing title.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was the most played game on Steam Deck over the past 12 months, according to Valve.

The highly anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection has finally been released across PC and consoles, although much to the disappointment of the fanbase, it's gotten off to a rather rough start. Namely, those trying to get stuck into the multiplayer modes as the collection launched have faced some massive issues, mainly thanks to an enormous lack of servers available to choose from. 

It's still months before we can even hope to have GTA 6 in our hands, but there's no doubt that it's one of, if not the most anticipated game on the horizon. However, its launch doesn't just have a lot riding on it because of its eager fanbase, as one games industry analyst predicts that "there's probably never been a more important thing to ever release in the industry."

Children Of The Sun instantly shot to the top of my personal most-wanted list when it was first announced at the start of February alongside its accompanying Steam Next Fest demo, and happily, publishers Devolver Digital have now set a release date. It's coming real soon, with its single-shot murder bullet puzzles hitting Steam on April 9th - and to celebrate, there's a flashy new release trailer to go with it.
