Baldur’s Gate 3 was the most played game on Steam Deck over the past 12 months, according to Valve.
The company has released a Top 100 list showing which games have been played most on the handheld between March 2023 and March 2024.
Going by highest daily active player count, Larian‘s RPG has been played by the most users, followed by Vampire Survivors and Dave the Diver.
Valve notes that its list doesn’t just count games that are officially Steam Deck verified. For example, Palworld and Grand Theft Auto 5 are both on the list and both are listed as Playable rather than Verified.
A Playable status on Steam Deck means the game is functional, but the player may need to take extra steps to interact with or configure the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been met with huge critical success, and most recently took home five prizes at the DICE awards last month.
Larian’s title picked up the coveted Game of the Year award, was named Role-Playing Game of the Year, and won Outstanding Achievement awards across Story, Game Direction, and Game Design.
It also won Game of the Year at The Game Awards in December, along with five other awards including Best Performance, Best Community Support, Best RPG, Best Multiplayer and Player’s Voice.
