As a real-life Marvel fangirl, The Marvels star Iman Vellani has shared her theory about Kang the Conqueror’s role in the highly-anticipated. Speaking with New Rockstars, Vellani proposed the idea that the sixth Avengers movie might feature an “ultra-powerful” variant of Kang, who may possess both the powers of the Molecule Man and the Beyonder.

Despite relatively poor box office returns, and Ms. Marvel star isn’t too worried about how much money the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe film has made.

During a recent interview with ComicBook, star Iman Vellani has shared new details about Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel’s surprising scene with Hailee Steinfeld‘s Kate Bishop. The rising young actress revealed that there was another version of that scene, which would have featured an already established Young Avengers team. This version was ultimately scrapped because they eventually realized that introducing the fan-favorite team that way wouldn’t work out at all.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe can’t escape the quippy protagonist. Throw a stone at any of the series’ 33 movies and you’re bound to hit a sarcastic hero with a tough(ish) exterior but a heart of gold underneath. It’s a good archetype, but fill a universe (and a superhero team) with just one type of person and it’s bound to get a little stale. One disappointment of the franchise’s latest entry, The Marvels, is that it comes so close to giving us a totally new kind of hero. But in the end, Carol Danvers never quite becomes the well-meaning but slightly dense super-jock that we deserve.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe needs a new team. The Avengers don’t seem to be coming back, or at least not in any of the configurations in which they were once known, what with all the death and retirement. There may be movies called “Avengers” on the calendar — Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars — but who could step into the shoes of the Avengers in these post-Endgame days?

The Marvels is the most unexpected fun we’ve had at a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in a while, but the admittedly rushed, choppy storyline left us with some questions. What was Dar-Benn’s whole deal? Are all those singing people OK? And most importantly: Who is Goose’s Flerken baby daddy?
