The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may have been released over ten years ago, but it continues to be an extremely good-looking game, thanks to the many mods that improve its visuals still getting released to this day.
A new 8K resolution video put together by Digital Dreams shows how breathtaking the latest entry in the series by Bethesda looks with the Complete RT shader by NiceGuy, an advanced screen space ray tracing shader that lets users add global illumination with effects like Diffuse Illumination and Specular Reflection, ambient occlusion and glossy reflections to any game via Reshade, NVIDIA DLSS 3 and over 2000 other mods. You can check out the video below.
While The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hasn't received new content in a while, Bethesda hasn't left the game behind entirely. The Special Edition was updated earlier this month, introducing Steam Deck support as well as bringing paid mods once again. While users may not like this new attempt from Bethesda, modders aren't entirely against it, as Skyblivion lead Rebelzize and popular modder Elianora highlighted how this is another opportunity for modders to get paid for their work.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch.
