A huge part of ' story centers around expanding the universe, however, as its protagonist, Kay Vess isn't involved in the main conflict of the Galactic Civil War that has been the focus of most stories told about that time, and is navigating the criminal underworld instead.

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment's has been advertised as the series' first proper open-world adventure, with its new protagonist, Kay Vess, venturing across the Outer Rim and dealing with the criminal underworld at a time when the Empire is distracted by the growing rebellion. Throughout the game's campaign, players will get the chance to visit iconic planets such as Tatooine, and while this location has often been covered since its appearance in the first movie in 1977, looks set to be the most interesting version of it yet.

Star Wars' newest streaming series offers us a glimpse of what a galaxy far, far away looked like about 130 years before we were first introduced to it, the earliest we've ever seen of the universe in live-action, but the show's creator eventually wants to stretch things all the way back to the Knights of the Old Republic era. 

If you're anything like me, The Acolyte has got you amped up to go shred people, places, and things with a lightsaber again. The good news: Jedi Survivor has had 60% cleaved off and it's wall-to-wall laser swords. Alternatively, I have also found the cheapest deals on Star Wars Outlaws which...er, doesn't seem to include one single lightsaber in it. Shades of Dark Forces that I'm keen to preview soon.
