Dragon's Dogma 2 looms on the horizon, and IGN has managed to snag exclusive access to the action RPG ahead of its launch in March. The publication's posted 18 minutes of brand new PS5 gameplay (in 4K, no less), which showcases four character classes (or vocations, as they're known in-game). We get a good look at the sword and shield Fighter, the dextrous dagger-wielding Thief, the heavy weaponed Warrior, and the spell-slinging Sorcerer.

Respawn Entertainment’s first major event forApex Legends in 2024 runs from January 9th to 30th, and it’s a tie-up with Square Enix’sFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. It's only been a couple of months since the last Synth Riders update, but that hasn't stopped Kluge Interactive from dropping even more content into its sublime VR rhythm title. Available now, the newest track added to the title is a remixed version of a song not from Synth Riders, but from the VR golfing title, Walkabout Mini Golf.

Just over a month away from its PS5 and PS4 release, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is getting new gameplay footage on the regular, and this latest chunk of combat from Famitsu is a treat. The 20-minute video focuses on several multiplayer boss fights (which are also playable solo with CPU allies). As we keep saying, the action RPG looks super promising, especially as full teams of four can coordinate their attacks to rack up huge combos and deal crazy damage.

A new gameplay trailer has been released for Tekken 8, with grizzly brown bear Kuma being the focus of this one. In the trailer, we first see Kuma lay into his long term rival and enemy, Paul Phoenix, before the fight changes to a one between Kuma and Panda. Kuma proposes to Panda with a salmon, gets rejected again, beats Panda up, and then declares he is getting married all giddy like. Not the sign of a healthy relationship.

Bandai Namco is full steam ahead with Tekken 8 as the fighting game fast approaches launch day. The title is due for release on 26th January 2024, and up to now, most of its trailers have been focused on single characters. This new one, however, shows off the game's Story mode — and it's looking typically mad.

Sony propelled overall console sales up almost 60 per cent year-over-year, as the PS5 absolutely exploded in Europe during November. According to a GSD sales report – which tracks several major countries, excluding the likes of the UK and Germany – the new-gen console’s sales were boosted by an eye-opening 376 per cent year-over-year. It’s worth remembering that in 2022 the system was still supply constrained, which is a factor in these results.

Ubisoft Original Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has crept up, releasing 18th January on PS5 and PS4, bringing the series to an entirely new generation after a 14-year hiatus. At The Game Awards, we were treated to a story snippet and a playable demo, and now we've got an expansive overview trailer to gush over.

The wait for Suikoden spiritual successor, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, has felt like an eternity, although in reality, it was only revealed in 2020. Regardless, the release of the successful Kickstarter project (fronted by former Suikoden developers) is finally on the horizon, out on 23rd April on PS5 and PS4, and in a new trailer, we get our most extensive look at the game yet.

Recently we went hands-on with Ubisoft's upcoming Metroidvania, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It's slashing its way onto PS5 and PS4 in January, bringing the series back to PlayStation for the first time since 2010. But after all this time, how is this latest adventure shaping up? And will it be worth that 14-year wait? Well, from our two hours with the game, we'd say fans of the series have a fun and vibrant adventure on their hands, and we personally are looking forward to jumping back into it.

KT Racing’s Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is out in 2024 and takes the series to Hong Kong Island. A new trailer showcases the racing experience as players barrel through the streets in supercars and even challenge others to races on the fly. Though it’s in-engine, the visuals look stunning.
