Tarisland, the MMORPG coming from Tencent to PC and Mobile, highlighted its Warrior class in a new video today. The sword and shield-wielding character will be able to specialize as either a tank or melee DPS attacker in the upcoming MMO.
Tarislands' video, which doesn't seem to have gone through any localized copy-editing, highlights the upcoming Warrior class and its lore. Apparently, in Tarisland, Humans invented melee combat with the sword and shield, with the Warrior able to use his footwork, movement, and strength to help down foes.
Warriors can specialize in Rage, the melee DPS line, or War Shield, the Tank specialization. Or both, thanks to Tarislands' dual specialization and talent customization.
The Rage trait line sees the Warrior wield two swords to do damage, with a spin move AOE attack called Blade Cyclone, or simply rushing headlong into battle with its Charge attack. On the other hand, War Shield sees the Warrior take up his shield to protect himself and his allies in battle. The Tank line specializes in disrupts, stuns, and drawing aggro away from allies to wear down enemies.
You can check out the Warrior in action in the embedded video, complete with epic narrator vibes. Tarisland is gearing up for its next closed beta, which is set to start on November 15th on PC.

Yesterday, a massive sunspot spanning 200,000 kilometers containing as many as 12 dark cores was reported on the Sun. As per information from the NASA Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO), there was a high chance that it could explode at any moment, and that is exactly what happened just an hour ago. An M-class solar flare was seen erupting on the sunspot, whose extreme ultraviolet radiation sparked a short-wave radio blackout on the Earth. While NASA has not been able to confirm the presence of any Earth-bound coronal mass ejection (CME), this information should be revealed in a few hours' time.

Big damage numbers are fun, sure, but slapping a bunch of damage-over-time effects on your foes and watching them wilt has its allure too. Remnant 2's new archetype, the Ritualist, will let you do just that, and it'll be arriving alongside the game's first DLC next week.
