System Shock remake for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, and Xbox One launches May 21

Nightdive Studios has announced PO’ed: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the 1995 first-person shooter PO’ed coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

A free trial of Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X players later this week. 

Publisher United Label and developer Odd Bugg Studio have announced medieval adventure RPG sequel Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2024.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024, developer Grasshopper Manufacture announced. Wishlisting is available now via PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam.

Capcom really upped its game with their RE-Engine that debuted in 2017’s Resident Evil 7. It has since seen Capcom through 16 games and three console generations, but none were as demanding and out of that design scope as Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is probably why it’s the first to make the versatile engine visibly bulge at the seams. This is a game that relies on physically based materials, photogrammetry textures, and realistic human models and animation, alongside a fantastical and mythical world, but the bumpers come off in places where we see the open-ended, dynamic, and systemic game design with CPU-controlled enemies and teammates, vast, open plains to explore, and dense towns with constant data streaming. This flips the linear nature of the core engine's focus on its head, raising the demands on the throughput, teams, memory management, and, ultimately, performance.

Inti Creates has announced Card-en-Ciel, a card-battling RPG for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). A release date was not announced. It will support up to two players.

SUCCESS Corporation-developed 3D shoot ’em up Rainbow Cotton will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 9, publisher ININ Games announced.

Publisher Microids and developer Balio Studio have announced party game The Smurfs: Village Party for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). It will launch on June 6.

Nightdive Studios' remake is coming to consoles. After a successful 2016 Kickstarter that raised over $1.3 million, the title was released on PC in March last year. Despite having a long and troubled development cycle and being delayed several times, the remake was extremely well-received by fans and critics alike, with most praising it for staying true to the beloved 1994 game while bringing it up to modern standards.

Milestone has announced MotoGP 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch on May 2.

The System Shock remake, which first launched on PC back in March last year, is officially coming to consoles in May.

Grandia HD Collection is going to be getting released for PS4 and Xbox One on March 26th, GungHo has announced today. The collection, which has been available on Switch and PC, includes Grandia HD and Grandia II HD, but no Grandia III or Grandia Xtreme.
