SPYxANYA: Operation Memories for PS5, PS4, and Switch launches June 27 in Asia, June 28 in the west

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 have released a two-minute gameplay video of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot downloadable content “Goku’s Next Journey,” which is due out in February.

Developer FromSoftware now fully owns the trademark to its open world opus Elden Ring, after previously sharing ownership with publisher Bandai Namco. 

Bandai Namco has confirmed that it recently cancelled at least five games in development, and said it plans to have stricter quality control going forward.

2024 has already had a number of major releases, and in that list, Tekken 8 has turned out to be among the most successful. The newest entry in Bandai Namco’s fighting franchise launched last month, instantly being met with widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike, and it’s seeing commercial success to match, to the extent that Bandai Namco says the game’s sales are “better than we’d hoped for at this point”, as shared by journalist Takashi Mochizuki on Twitter.

After launching in Japan last September, Falcom’s Ys 10: Nordics is coming to the West this Fall courtesy of NIS America. It will be available for PS4,  PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC with English and Japanese audio. The console versions support English and French text, while the PC version will support Japanese text. Endnight Games’ Sons of the Forest exits early access on February 22nd, nearly a year after it entered. Regrettably, the dismal Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash is the worst kind of tie-in: a vapid cash grab clearly developed on a shoe-string budget with few redeeming features for existing fans or fascinated newcomers alike.

Building on reports that Bethesda's RPG Starfield will be given a PS5 version at some point later this year, a new article from The Verge claims Microsoft is also «considering» making Indiana Jones and the Great Circle available on the Sony system. The game will supposedly only have a «short period of exclusivity», with the initial Xbox release «tentatively targeting» December 2024.
