Sony seeking growth by bringing more first-party games to other platforms

NVIDIA has banned the use of CUDA libraries on other platforms like AMD & Intel, as the firm adds a new warning with CUDA's EULA.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has reportedly cancelled a Twisted Metal game as part of restructuring plans announced on Tuesday.

Pentiment, a former Xbox exclusive just released for the PlayStation 5, runs at double the frame rate on Sony's console. The PlayStation 5 version of Obsidian's 2D RPG includes additional enhancements not seen on the Xbox version.

The first in-game footage has been revealed for Age of Empires Mobile, over a year after its initial announcement. 

Xbox Game Studios has flaunted extraordinary lifetime player numbers for some of its most successful first-party games, including Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves, and more. Xbox's first-party portfolio is set to grow even larger this year, with several major titles planning to release, like Ninja Theory's Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 in May, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Avowed in the fall.

The funky upbeat Foamstars soundtrack is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms. The album consisting of multiple artists can be downloaded on your phone through these services.

Many people are still trying to process everything that happened during Xbox’s “Business Update” that transpired yesterday. This is because the whole presentation read as nothing more than “this could’ve been an email,” as nothing truly significant was revealed. The only “big pieces of news” were that Microsoft would bring four titles that had been out for a while to other platforms and that Microsoft was already working on their next-gen console to follow the Xbox Series X/S. But now, a separate interview from Xbox’s Phil Spencer has further shed light on what he feels is “best for business” from both Xbox and beyond…and it’s really telling.

Not so long ago, the announcement that Sony didn't have any new entries in its major first-party franchises in the pipeline for the coming year would have been viewed as an extraordinary opportunity for Microsoft to gain ground on the market leader.

In the new Xbox business update podcast, the company's leadership has confirmed that four of Xbox's ecosystem exclusives will be coming to rival platforms. The business update was a response to snowballing rumors of Xbox internally planning to go fully third party.

It’s been confirmed that four games that were previously released as Xbox-exclusive titles are on the way to other platforms, although it’s not been explicitly confirmed which ones they are.
