As samurai warrior Jin Sakai, players were tasked with liberating Tsushima Island from an invading Mongolian army using a mix of ancient swordplay and ninja-like stealth. In 2021, Ghost of Tsushima was updated for the PS5, adding a new story expansion that took Jin to Iki Island to battle a sinister cult.
