Shrek Original Animated Test Footage Found, Posted Online

EVE Vanguard's First Strike Event ended this week, with the team at CCP Games thanking fans for taking part in the first of what will be many play tests on the road to a full FPS launch. We also have an idea as to when the next one should take place: January 2024.

Grand Theft Auto Online's latest update adds a new illicit business, the Chop Shop, which allows players to better profit off the stolen vehicles they acquire across Los Santos. The new update also brings new races, robberies, and more to GTAV's online mode.

Pax Dei wrapped up its Home Valley alpha last week, which the developer claims saw over 12 thousand players take part. The test, by all outside metrics, was a success, and the Mainframe team shared some stats from the test with a set of handy infographics.

Following Sandbox Interactive’s decision to moveto a seasonal update model for Albion Online, the new year will bring the next major update, Crystal Raiders. The update will revamp guild warfare, add a brand new weapon type, and expand or revamp many other features.

EVE Online is gearing up for its next seasonal event, the Winter Nexus, which hits New Eden on December 5th. The event brings winter snowstorms to space (because video games), giving players a chance to earn SKINs, loot and more.

It’s no secret that EVE Online developer CCP Games has been expanding its projects in the EVE Universe. One of their upcoming games, Project Awakening, is a blockchain-based project entering its Plase II playtest next week, and the team is looking for new testers.

Throne and Liberty (TL) producer Jong-ok Ahn released part 5 of his producer’s letter this week, following his presentation at G-Star. With the game's launch fast approaching, the development team is busy with final preparations, as they aim for a smooth Korean launch.

Dave the Diver is one of PC Gamer's favourite games of 2023, no small feat in a year as crammed with great releases as this one has been. In his review from July, Chris called it «easily the best game of 2023» saying «When I finished the final boss at 35 hours in, I felt like I'd been on a real adventure, and the ending gently, but genuinely, tugged on my heartstrings.» Granted, this was before Baldur's Gate 3 blew everyone away, but still a score of 91 is nothing to sniff at.
