The long-delayed Star Wars: Hunters finally has a new release date. Back in 2021, Lucasfilm Games and developer Zynga announced Star Wars: Hunters, a squad-based arena shooter set after the fall of the Galactic Empire at the end of the original Star Wars movie trilogy. Players can choose from characters like Rieve, a dark-side-empowered warrior, a lightsaber-wielding droid called J-3DI, and even Utooni, a pair of junk-scavenging Jawas stacked together. Each of these characters has their own unique abilities, which will come in handy during frantic battles across several classic Star Wars locations.

A talented Pokemon fan has created new forms for Haroxus and three other Pokemon based on the Tapu guardians. In nine generations, Pokemon introduced players to different Pokemon and regions. Alola stands out in the Pokemon universe for having references beyond Asia, such as being Hawaii-based and offering new features that became famous among fans.

A new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mass outbreak event makes it easier to catch shiny versions of specific Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mass outbreaks are when a large number of the same Pokemon all spawn in the same area. The increased spawn rate typically means that mass outbreaks make it slightly easier for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players to catch shiny variants of Pokemon.

By all accounts, the Nintendo Switch 2 is still almost a year away, but potential new details on the console have been filtering through on a consistent basis, courtesy of a what’s been an unbroken stream of leaks. Another leak has now emerged, with Mobopad, a manufacturer of Switch accessories, posting alleged new details that it has learned about Nintendo’s next-gen console on Bilibili.

Even more potential details surrounding the yet-to-be-announced Nintendo Switch 2 console have leaked online. Nintendo itself has not formally revealed the Switch 2, but persistent rumors and leaks have suggested that the console is coming sooner rather than later. Some reports have even suggested that the Switch 2 release date will be late 2024, as opposed to 2025, which has been previously rumored.

Publisher Bushiroad Games and developer Eighting have launched the official website for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact, revealing details on playable characters Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, and Netereo, as well as the battle system. New screenshots and character trailers for Gon, Killua, and Hisoka were also released.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s upcoming remake is continuing to generate buzz in the lead-up to its release next month, which is no surprise, given the immense legacy of the GameCube original. From a content and gameplay standpoint, it looks like the remake is going to be a pretty straightforward one, but Nintendo is still adding in some new features to modernize the experience.

Compile Heart has released a new trailer, information, and screenshots for “motorcycle action” game Neptunia VS Titan Dogoo, which introduce some of the game’s unique dogoos, “Compulsion Shots,” and customization.

Compile Heart has released the first information and screenshots for roguelike RPG Death end re;Quest Code Z, which is due out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on September 19 in Japan.
