Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew developer announces final ever release

Fntastic, the developer behind controversial Steam Early Access launch The Day Before, has shut down with immediate effect.

It has been four days since the launch of the much, much-aligned zombie shooter The Day Before. Today, the developer, Fntastic, has announced it’s closing its doors.

Developer Don't Nod has announced its next game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

After almost two years in early access, Void Interactive's tactical FPS Ready or Not will be hitting 1.0 in an update scheduled for December 13, as the studio revealed with a trailer at The Game Awards. The full version promises to have the complete «Commander Mode» singleplayer campaign, with new missions and overhauled versions of the currently available ones—18 in total, which can be played alone or in co-op with up to five players—as well as a suite of extra customizations and quality-of-life improvements.

We're best known for reviving the stealth-strategy genre with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun to critical acclaim, following up that success with Desperados III and, most recently, our most ambitious and self-published title Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, which, although again released to critical acclaim, will sadly be our final game.

With The Game Awards now just a few hours away, one of its major announcements seem to have leaked. Embark Studios’ upcoming free-to-play multiplayer shooter THE FINALS might be getting a surprise release during the event.

Developer Mimimi Gameas has announced that two DLCs for its tactical stealth game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew are out now. The DLCs, titled Shadow Gambit: Yuki’s Wish and Shadow Gambit: Zagan’s Ritual, have a new trailer that you can check out below.

The well-received PS5, PS4 tactics title Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is receiving one final free update today along with two paid DLC packs as developer Mimimi Games plans to close its doors. Each priced at $14.99, the expansions add new playable characters, missions, and areas to the game, extending the experience by «several hours». Both can be seen in the trailer above.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew marks the end of an era, as the final game from Mimimi Games that mixes a fun pirate story with the culmination of the studio’s experience in crafting deep tactical gameplay. Thankfully, given the suddenness of the decision to shut down the studio, they’re able to say farewell to their fans with two pieces of substantial DLC. Combined, these add two new characters, two new islands, and new powers to use.

Vampire: The Masquerade's blueblood vamps, the Ventrue, are the fourth and final clan being unveiled for Bloodlines 2. Unlike the unexpected addition of the Banu Haqim, shown off during the PC Gaming Show, the Ventrue reveal has been easier to predict: these vamps are VTM's aristocracy, heavy hitters that often have important positions in the Camarilla, ruling vampire society. They were playable in the first Bloodlines and had been announced for the original version of Bloodlines 2.
