2023 is coming to a close. To mark the end of the year, Valve has rolled out a «year-in-review» tool that allows players to review their 2023 stats and find out which games they played the most, their top genres, number of achievements unlocked, and lots more.
The Steam Year-in-Review page also allows players to see how their results compare against the wider community and share their results around the internet. Valve created a pretty funny video, too, to promote the Steam Year in Review--check it out below.
The Steam Year-in-Review page follows similar wrap-ups from Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo. You can use the links below to find your 2023 stats on those platforms.
If you're looking for more year-end content, check out GameSpot's top 10 games of 2023 and our Game of the Year. You can also take a look at some of our favorite games of 2023 that didn't make the top 10. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more end-of-year wrap-ups in the days ahead.

Valve has unveiled its annual ‘Best of 2023' list on Steam, revealing which titles dominated sales on PC. The titles haven't been numerically ranked, but have been grouped into tiers — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze — based on data collected from January 1 through December 15, 2023. The Top 12 category is populated by both free-to-play multiplayer games and the biggest launches, with the award-winning Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy emerging as the best-selling titles. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which was disliked by both fans and critics alike, also made it to higher echelons, thanks to a dedicated fanbase wanting to experience its multiplayer segment.
To help round off the year, PlayStation has put together an interactive map of the world that shows the most played PS5 and PS4 games of 2023 in a bunch of different countries. A nice idea, we're sure you'll agree, but the results are every bit as boring as you'd expect.
Steam has revealed its "Best of 2023" list that reveals the best-selling games on the platform alongside which titles were played the most on PC, Steam Deck, VR, Controller, and more.
The Witcher voice actor Doug Cockle has voiced Geralt of Rivia for nearly two decades, and will soon expand beyond video games to voice the White Wolf in upcoming Netflix film Sirens of the Deep.
Along with announcing 13 million players for Starfield to date, Bethesda Game Studios revealed its post-launch plans for the title heading into 2024. It already confirmed “all-new ways” to travel and city maps, and starting in February, it will target updates roughly every six weeks. They will add new features and content with quality-of-life improvements.
