Rocksteady co-founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker have reportedly formed a new development studio called Hundred Star Games.
While the studio has yet to be officially announced, Polygon spotted that the industry veterans are listed as directors of the London-based company on business information website Endole.
It also has a listing on the Great Place to Work website which reads: “Hundred Star Games is a video game start-up based in East London. Our ethos is of creating a small team of only 100 industry veterans and emerging talents, who are committed to crafting cutting-edge gaming experiences that inspire and captivate players worldwide.
“With innovation at our core, we’re dedicated to pushing boundaries, embracing diversity, and fostering a vibrant gaming community. Our empowering company culture is unique to the industry which encourages leadership at all levels, accountability, team support, vulnerability, and connection.”
Hundred Star Games is also currently recruiting through an official website. It has hired several lead developers and director-level former Rocksteady employees in recent months, according to LinkedIn profiles spotted by Polygon.
VGC has contacted Hundred Star Games for comment on this report and to request further information about the studio.
Hill and Walker, who were formerly both employed at Argonaut Games, founded Rocksteady in 2004.
“Now with Suicide Squad in safe hands, and the team here stronger than ever, it’s time to hand over the reins, and for us to start a new adventure together in games,” the pair said when their departure from the studio was announced in 2022.

The growth of artificial intelligence means young people should be learning how to think critically and have good judgment, rather than developing coding skills, according to one of New York's top bankers. “I'm not sure, if I was advising my kids, that learning how to be great coders is going to matter in 10 years,” Centerview Partners LLC co-founder Blair Effron said in an interview with Bloomberg TV's David Westin. “What will matter is: Do you have judgment? Do you have an ability to think critically and ask questions that need to be asked?”
