Returnal: Fallen Asteria And Art Of Returnal Pre-Orders Are Now Available

Amazon started canceling pre-orders for upcoming Nintendo Switch games last month without explanation. Those games have remained unavailable on Amazon ever since, and now Walmart has followed suit. Online pre-orders for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door at the big box store have been canceled, just like they were on Amazon a month ago. Walmart has been emailing apologies to those affected to let them know the game will be available in store when it's released on May 23.

Stumble Guys, a free-to-play, Fall Guys-like knockout platformer, is now available to download and play on both PS5 and PS4. Check out the trailer above to get an idea of what to expect.

The Pokemon TCG's march through Paldea continues today as the first details about the next Scarlet & Violet set were confirmed. Dubbed Shrouded Fable, almost everything in the new collection, including mini tins and special illustration collections booster bundles, will be released on August 2, 2024, with the exception of its booster bundles which will follow on September 6. If the excitement of new cards is too much to handle, Shrouded Fable's elite trainer box is already available for pre-order at the Pokemon Center.

WWE 2K24 has been on the market for a couple of months now and developer Visual Concepts is expanding the experience with the game’s first DLC pack. CM Punk made his surprise return to WWE this past November at Survivor Series, and in years past, fans would likely have had to wait over a year to see him in a WWE game, as the deadline for setting the roster for the next game would have passed. Thankfully, that’s no longer the case, as Visual Concepts got to work and managed to get him into the ECW Punk Pack, which also includes Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, Sandman, and Terry Funk.

There aren't many ways left to put a twist on Stardew Valley, but suffixing it with "in space!" oughta do it. Little-Known Galaxy is out in a week, and currently has a demo on Steam, where you can sample many of the delights that you're used to from a Stardewlike when you're new in town: meeting the locals, growing potatoes, and tidying up the place. Also, raising alien pets, seeking out new life, and new civilisations... It all takes place on a spaceship, you see, and this has some ramifications to playing the game beyond reskinning everything to be shiny metal instead of picturesque mud. It's an intriguing proposition.

Four months into 2024 and there have already been a lot of big games we'll continue to talk about and play throughout the rest of the year and beyond. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is unquestionably one of those games, not only because its story and side content comfortably provide players with more than 100 hours of things to do, but because its characters are some of the most beloved in all of gaming. Following the news that Sony no longer plans to move forward with its controversial Helldivers 2 PlayStation Network account-linking update, reviews are skyrocketing in a positive direction. The Helldivers 2 community has been up in arms over the recently announced update, which would have forced players to create and connect to a PlayStation Network account in order to access the game. Massive backlash ensued, with Helldivers 2 being review-bombed on Steam. This decision was ultimately reversed, with reviews immediately shooting up as a result.

I've been wishing I could be Spider-Man for as long as I can remember, but the closest I've come to replicating that fictional feeling is by swinging around New York as the web-slinger in Insomniac's Spidey games. The idea of actually being able to fire webs from my wrists was an unattainable goal since, well, radioactive spiders aren't a thing, and if they were, being bitten by one probably wouldn't result in the development of superpowers. Kids today won't need to rely on that impossibility as Hasbro has created real-life Web Blasters, no radioactive spider bite needed.

Pokemon is a multimedia juggernaut and its the various forms it comes in that have made it so massively popular for more than two and a half decades. However, you would think, considering how important an arm of the Pokemon machine it is, that the anime would be easier to watch from start to finish. With its 25 seasons shared between multiple streaming platforms, watching 'em all not only requires thorough research, but it can get pretty expensive too. Hoopla has entered the anime fray to help Pokemon fans on both those counts as the free service is now carrying eight seasons of the show.
